When I bring out the flea drops, my cat Ace is the fastest thing on four paws. 🐾 🐾
They even recognise the packaging! And the smell when the seal is broken is an instant "nope, nope, nope!". 🤣

Can you just picture a kittie obstacle course, like they have for doggies...sure cats can do the jumps...if they want to...but we all know tunnels are for sleeping...and fluffy sets the new record, completing the course over three days...taking only twelve nappies, nine food breaks, and twenty grooming sessions...😁
My cat Amber lived 27 years and… never saw a vet after initial first visit through 27 years when vet came to house to let Amber out of her pain 🦋
I had the vet come to my house too. I didn't want my cat to experience the stress of going to the vet's office at the end

If cats can't taste sweetness, then why did my female Snowshoe, Phoebe, go absolutely crazy over instant banana pudding and Rice Krispie Treats??? The first time she saw a Treat, she grabbed it out of my hand and chomped into it! Weirdo. 😹

That's correct, @benjaminrobinson3842. Cats are reacting to the *fat,* not the sweetness.
That makes sense. My ginger tabby loves to lick my empty coffee cup. More like creamer with a little coffee in it! 😂

In Celtic culture, they are indeed seen as aetherial sprites, and the black ones (familiars) are even more special and bring good luck.

There is an interesting video from Drachinifel about cats at sea. Apparently in the age of sail, cats on a ship were considered good luck.
