Great vid. Thanks guys. I have owned a 2021 HD PanAm for 2 years now. A couple of comments on your vid … side stand message comes up because you had left it in 1st. If you go to neutral this doesn’t happen. Also, as a tall rider myself I have the seat on the higher option and I noticed you had it on the lower.
As an owner of a 2022 Pan Am Special, I'm happy with it, but I think it is more road than off road. I've taken it on rough off road tracks and it will do it, but it is too heavy. I have 45 years experience at riding, lots of years doing motocross and enduro, and if you want to go off road, you need a smaller bike, 450 to 500cc and under 200kg. I love my bike, I ride practically everyday, 90% road and some off road. The bike does need some mods, like different seat (I refused to get Harley Davidson's seat upgrade, if they have a better seat, they should fit it as standard), rear rack with more than 5kg weight limit, real barkbusters not silly plastic ones that come off on the first hit, and bigger off road foot pegs. The crash bars are very good, they save the bike very well when you drop it off road.
Best bike i have ever owner and i have owned many
The price is in line with all the others in its class. Its also faster than most of them.
You can change settings with side stand down, just needs to be in neutral
The indicators self cancel and they work well.
I'd say it's good.Shaft drive would make it great.
Im not sold on the Pan america but im considering one? If i think the adaptive ride height is something all Adventure Bike should be thinking about? Its not a big deal for me because i can reach but most Adventure bikes are to tall for some people
You have to be in neutral or you get the side switch warning and your screen won't work. Also, your turn signals are self canceling.
🤙🏾
As I said previously, it doesn't look like a Harley Davidson in my opinion and for £24k I certainly would want it to. Harley appears to have designed a bike to compete with other manufacturers, but in doing so, has changed the traditional look of the brand, to create it. As with all Harley Davidson's, their fuel tanks are small and the engines are thirsty. So long trips are interrupted by fill ups compared to it's competitor's. With so many fantastic adventure bikes on the market, this has a lot to live up to and in my mind, falls short. Park it up against another manufacturer and I'd doubt many people would realise its a Harley apart from the odd logo on the tank and that's not particularly obvious.
Lmao About the price.....
Two girls talking a lot but say nothing.
