    Love this bag. Especially love that it is tightly stitched so things won't fall out through big holes.

      Hi Linda, agreed! I can actually carry a pen around in this without worrying about losing it!

    • @jean2448
      @jean2448 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I must crochet loosely. I could easily lose a pen, especially at the ends where we add the 'extra' stitches. :(

    • @lindaschultz7253
      @lindaschultz7253 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Would it be possible to do yarn under instead of yarn over to tighten the weave? That might fix your problem.

    • @jean2448
      @jean2448 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Linda Schultz I went down to a 6mm hook and that seems to be helping.

    This bag is fantastic. I used cotton yarn from the dollar tree for the project as I was inspired to get it going. You are a lovely teacher - very thorough instructions and you demonstrate the steps very clearly. Judging by the comments, your bag is a hit! Thank you!

    Hi Jayda, thankyou so very much for this wonderful bag and, as always, your clear, easy to follow instructions. I have made a lot of these bags, in lots of different colourways and have gifted most of them to family. Every time I use mine, I receive fabulous comments from other people. Your pattern has given so much pleasure to so many people. Thankyou!

    Love this pattern and your light/dark technique really makes it look more 'designed'. I used stitch markers at the ends of the base because I will forget where I was even while making a coffee! For straps, I use old belts from charity shops, hole punched and sewn on firmly. Your tutorials are so clear. I rely appreciate them

    I made the bag and it came out great! I really should have used stitch markers because I made a mistake on the turning point with the 3 chains. But, I was able to go back and fix it before I continued. Now I'm going to make one using Fall colors!

    I'm making one today! Using my scraps,the solids paired with the verigated ! It helps that some balls are already double stranded because it was left over from a basket and blankets I was making. Just couldn't decide what to do with them! I love this so much. Actually all your videos !
