Woodturning Christmas Ornaments (Fine Art)

Christmas is coming up soon, so it’s time to start turning holiday decor pieces! I made this Christmas ornament from several layers of material. The dark wood is African Thuya. The light wood is Colorado Elm. The metal is pewter.
I’ve done some Christmas ornament diy in the past, but this is my favorite piece by far. It was fairly intricate work, but I’m happy with the way it turned out. It was turned primarily with traditional woodturning tools and methods.

The silver...I'm assuming pewter...trimming gives it "that real look".
