The hours that journalists wasted writing about that Blur vs Oasis nonsense whilst the sane people amongst us immersed ourselves in the true sounds of the 90's. HOL, incredible timeless band
The Butterfly Album, which is what me and my mates called it. I wore the Hell out of that concert shirt, may it R.I.P. This is the album you just hit play and let it ride, not a bad song on it, they are all top rate!!!
someone said on 6 music (british radio), i love songs that go beyond the ears down into your soul ,this is such a song, twenty years plus listening to this and its still moves me
Don't you frown Just go sweetly Let your senses suck the world And your fingers through my hair Shake and Crawl Through the willow There's a baby in our eyes And a second when we cry And I know no love will be here again Here again So wash my lies Fill the hollow With a legend out inside There's a system to divide And I know no love will be here again I know something's wrong I've got words and I've got song And your the call in an ice cold wind So don't you cry Just go sweetly Take an ideal to the storm Let your head and heart be one And I know no love will be here again I know no love will be here again Here again
Flashback time.Bought this album on vinyl when it came out in the early 90's and played it 'til it played no more. Huge influence, sincere thanks for uploading
I was at the same gig, also saw them in London and Glastonbury the same year, in fact I think it was 3 time in 4 weeks, they played a different set every night and they were amazing even without Terry Bickers or Simon Walker. Also kudos to the video maker, nice editing and I love the song.
@pmvgamundo Yeah it's so out of control now mate, it's the sheep mentality that I blame. Stupid fuckers who can't think for themselves, and are totally blind to the shit they're actually buying into. Fueled by wannabe's that most don't even play musical instruments, and see the music industry as a gateway to celebrity rather than an art-form. I hate 'the moral majority'

Indeed.
Exactly.
this was one of the most brilliant albums of the last 20 years
Thirty now...
@@tmendyka How is that possible???
A song that still has me in bits. They deserved to have been superstars.
This song makes me cry, specially the end...Wonderfull band, so underrated...
This song is a pure beauty. And she doesn't get many views, while musical ugliness gets millions and millions of views.

Anybody else get into a loop sometimes where you can't stop playing this song?
Get the boxset, the demo version 2 is so much better.
For shimmering beauty both in the melodies and the crisp guitars, how can one beat the Butterfly album?

"And I know no love will be here again..." Simply wonderful
I love this tune. One of the best on a great record.
Their best song. Thanks for putting this together.
Самая замечательная музыка, которую я когда-либо слышал.
The most beautiful music I ever heard.
I love this song. Brings back memories.
Nice work! This was to be the fifth single from the Butterfly album but was scrapped at the last minute...shame cos it's such a wonderful song!
Don't you frown
Just go sweetly
Let your senses suck the world
And your fingers through my hair
Shake and Crawl
Through the willow
There's a baby in our eyes
And a second when we cry
And I know no love will be here again
Here again
So wash my lies
Fill the hollow
With a legend out inside
There's a system to divide
And I know no love will be here again
I know something's wrong
I've got words and I've got song
And your the call in an ice cold wind
So don't you cry
Just go sweetly
Take an ideal to the storm
Let your head and heart be one
And I know no love will be here again
I know no love will be here again
Here again

If I'm not mistaken, Chris Groothuizen wrote a large part of Audience. (Whether he wrote the songs you think are boring, who knows.)

This band was wonderfull,I tell you what you can say.Where are they now?
If Blur and Oasis were the battle of the 90's. Chadwick and Bickers et al were the referees
Amazing Band finnaly got to see them live :) in Israel
Are those tom beats in this?
THey guys were quite good and hardly anyone noticed. Back in the early 90s ....anyone see a pattern that has gotten more pronounced?
they were nearly as good as Half Man, Half Biscuit.
They have a way to go before they match the beauty of Dickie Davies Eyes.
With their Joy Division oven gloves 😉
Hannah and Welt are better but this is pretty good.

I'd say a few songs off "Audience With the Mind" are good candidates for boring, uninspired songwriting. But I think Guy'd admit as much, himself.
