I'll never forget this small random encounter where I found this guy crying over some other dudes body. If u waited next to him he'd end up slowly picking up his partner's revolver and shooting himself in the face. No explanation, no backstory, just a dude killing himself over events unknown to you. Shit was impressive and eerie af.
Flying Dutchman when I saw the guy reach for the gun I lassoed him, hog tied and burned his friends body. I rode him to the local sheriff station and left him there tied up in case he hurt himself more. (I role played the shit outta that game.)
To save you some time: 1. Tombstone text (funny/weird inscriptions) 2. Big foot (undead nightmare) 3. The hills have eyes (stranger quest in armadillo) 4. Julia Buettner your the mvp! Couldnt listen to this narrator? Is he surrounded by shit and squeezing his nose while recording or what? Use some #menthol #vicks
I've played it through to 100% completion 8 times and have platinum trophy for it. Yeah, I don't have any friends so I've got a lot of times on my hands
Farldie Manie Rockstar has never used E3 as a promoting platform. They don't need it. All they had to do was change their social media avatars/icons to a red colored R* logo and the gaming world goes nuts.
They tell you want happened to Tumbleweed in the game, it wasn't some supernatural secret. The train-line ran through Armadillo and made that the main town in the area. Eventually all the tumbleweed residents migrated.
here's one trick I'm pretty sure many players don't know... it made me replay the game multiple times. Red Dead Redemption allows you to play music you have imported on your ps3 during gameplay and even during cutscenes!!! stick on some classic Ennio Morricone scores and you can reference your favourite westerns yourself :)
cypherhawk407 Really? I used to try to play music I had imported with every game. The only game it let me play music while playing was Minecraft. I shall try this.
Rd1 was ahead of its time I think with the graphics and the game play and the gore was pretty damn good even though u couldn't go into first person but one of the best western games series out there in my opinion 👍 the did amazing job with both and I was blown away with all the tiny details in the second one
Jimmy Kitkat sorry to tell you this but they probably focus even more on multiplayer than gtav, they only revealed gta online shortly before release while red dead redemption 2 got announced and immediately they talked about online. It's why people keep playing their games after finishing the story. I just hope this time the online environment is better than the single player.
I miss this game dearly, I miss bringing zombies into free roam with that glitch, I miss running enemies out of strongholds and using to the stronghold getting a bunch of friends to fight against the law with. This game was just perfection
When travelling around Tumbleweed you sometimes briefly see lights come on in the houses from a distance. It looks more like a glitch than anything but it does look creepy.
Don’t forget the Easter egg in undead nightmare in the beginning when John first came back when jack was telling him about the story he was reading and it was the exact same thing that was going to happen to the whole world...
the sheriff literally tells you why Tumbleweed was abandoned while trying to save Bonnie, his deputies even add that it was ran over by depraved outlaws. so i guess you can figure out why it's haunted and abandoned
If you hop off the second story balcony of the saloon in Armadillo, over your hitched horse you will land right in the saddle. Like in any old western movie! Go ahead and try it out now.
Don't have a PS4, so I'm playing RDR for the first time ever now. And it's fucking GREAT! The writing and dialogue is what's surprised me the most though, it's so well done. Such a good game.
I know. His ass threw me off. Like "Wait! There's a fourth??? I thought Fistful of Dollars was the first film" It even made me Google it. Fuck this video
Man with No Name is a character not a movie, his First appearance were in "A Fistful of Dollars (1964)" then he was the leading character in the movie "For a Few Dollars More (1965)". The last movie in the trilogy is "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966)". He has a new nickname in every movie, Joe, Manco and Blondie.
when talking about the red harlow campfire reference you forgot they will also talk about jack referring to him as "that sandhurst who wields two revolvers".
At the beginning of this video I was thinking to myself, I bet I already know about all of these, and after the video I was not wrong. I’ve played more hours of this game than most people spend sleeping. The only game I’ve played more of is halo: combat evolved.
I revisit this game every 6 months or so, it's still fun to roam around & hunt & loot. Can't stand playing as Jack for too long though so I restart story.
There were other cannibals, I saw a man by a tent who beckoned me over when I got closer he stsrted shooting I killed him and there was human bones, blood and a severed head on the ground, I think there was a man tied up on the ground too.
Glad to know that Rockstar hasn't forgotten about "Red Dead Revolver" by adding those references in the game. Such an underrated game. As for the "Halo" / "Red Vs. Blue" references, I never would have guessed those to be in this game.
Ik this video is somewhat old but the reason tumbleweed became a ghost town is because when they added the railway it went right over tumbleweed and to Armadillo Leigh (Marshal) Johnson tells you this.
The reason Tumbleweed became a ghost town was because the railroad was installed and no one came to the town anymore, they say why it became like that in the mission to save Bonnie when you go to tumbleweed. And plus gangs hide out there anyways so really it still is habitable
I can state for a fact that the Mansion at Tumbleweed is not haunted. If you stand in front of the fireplace on the first floor, you'll notice two doors on each side of the fireplace, which lead into the kitchen. The "voices" that you hear inside of the Mansion, are Bollard gang members hiding inside of the kitchen area just behind the fireplace wall. The voices that you hear inside of the Mansion saying "Howdy!" or "How do you do?" Are actually the gang members reacting to Marston being in the area; same as any other civilian would react in the game. Also, if you enter the Mansion when no one is around and hear voices, try shooting your gun at the fireplace wall. I did that, and one of the gang members reacted by pointing his gun at me and I could even see the gun barrel glitched through the wall. Keep in mind, this all happened long after I had cleared the town of gang members. I came back that same night, and there were still Bollards inside of the kitchen area behind the fireplace. So, whenever I shot my gun at the fireplace wall, the Bollard's gun was aimed at me through the door and I somehow managed to shove him out of the way. He stood back up and started shooting at me from the other side of the door. Again, his gun barrel glitched outside of the wall entirely so I was able to disarm him by shooting the gun barrel. Then, (I wish I could describe exactly how I did this, but I forgot) I managed to glitch myself into the locked kitchen area and found several gang members inside of the locked room behind the fireplace. I killed them all but was locked inside of the kitchen. "Glitch locked." I used dynamite to blow open a kitchen window, took a few steps back, ran at the window, jumped through the window and escaped. So yeah, Tumbleweed is not haunted at all. Though it is a clever cover story for a gang hideout.
During the gaptooth breach bandit hide cleanout you fight your way through the mine to find a treasure alongside with some guy you've found tied up in a cabin. After you've found the treasure box, eliminated all enemys and head for the exit, that guy sits down on a box of explosives and lights up a cigarette. A few seconds later he gets blown apart.
most of these secrets mentioned in this video I have found it is a bit of time playing with this game but I think that they could have bunged in more secrets to find
Was in the middle of nowhere when I stumbled across two guys moving gun powder barrels. I walked up and started to listen to them. Before I could do anything one of the guys lit up a cigar and blew us all up. I almost shit my pants wearing turtle beaches
There is a mission called "The sport of kings, and liars" I thought this might be a reference to The Wire of a quote shown at the beginning of the last episode of the series, "...the life of kings." Then in the dialogue of the mission they use the word "dickensian" twice which confirms it, "The Dickensian Aspect" is a Wire Episode title and is a phrase used several times.
Obviously this is an old vid, but there is no Eastwood movie called "The Man With No Name". I believe you're referencing one of the movies from the Dollars trilogy, but who can say?
I'll never forget this small random encounter where I found this guy crying over some other dudes body. I've noticed that the characters in red dead redemption look more authentic than gta 5

yea it seems theyve went for a cartoonish feel and look imo in gta5.

I'm surprised Rockstar has gone so silent after the initial Red Dead Redemption 2 debut trailer. It's been almost 3 months.

I've spent so much idle time, not doing missions for a while, I had the chance to read all the tombstones in Tubleweed and Blackwater.

Funny. I don't want to play it after watching this.
Kevin mchebri if they showed actual gameplay then that would want to make me play
None of this is a secret mystery to any of us. A very cheap clickbait video.
Kevin mchebri me either haha
It's just a bunch of references that aren't in the slightest exciting enough for me to play it again.
Just saying John Marston is enough to make me want to replay Red Dead (and yes, even after playing RDR2)

Oh fuck poor Bonnie

I started playing the game because of west world.

The Man With No Name was a nickname for the trilogy of Spaghetti Westerns staring Eastwood and directed by Sergio Leone. So, you know: research helps.
Adrianne Stone Well done, you know Sergio Leone :)
Dana Stone It only really refers to Clint Eastwood's character. The films themselves are known as the Dollars Trilogy.

That scream has been used in every star wars and most movies will have it, it's kinda a running joke
Honestly it depresses me that I already achieved 100% achievement in game. I know literally everything

The man with no name isn't a movie, it's a nickname for Clints characters in Sergio Leone's trilogy
