I remember when these guys finally hit it big and I couldn't have been happier because they were better than anything else on the radio in my opinion. Saw them at ozzfest and then heard Dave died. Tragedy. This has to be my favorite song of theirs.

What’s funny I loved this song when it came out. I listened to a band called Soil. Years later I decided to listen to this song here on TH-cam because I had it stuck in my head. While listening to this song I was thinking this singer sounds like the singer from Soil. I started listening to Soil. I know the Drowning Pool fans that's followed them from the start may find what i have to say sacrilege but Ryan's voice fits them perfectly. He fits better with DP then his band SOiL. Hes not like 1 of these Phil Anselmo cut out clones he actually can hold a tune while being able to bark and growl when needed. I can understand why the SOiL boys got pissed with him when he left. He didn't go about it anywhere near right and respectful to everyone else when he cited his family wanting to spend more time with them then 2 weeks later hes announced as DP's new frontman. Its just really unbelievable how DP cant hold on to lead singers its like they rent them for few years and when their time is up its like next in line step forward. These guys are really good CJ has a guitar style all his own but theyve become the hard rock equivalent of Santana.
I have to agree. I like Ryan in SOiL, but I like him in Drowning Pool better, and I really liked AJ Cavalier in SOiL.
