Beautiful job!
Thanks a lot for watching Bryon
really awesome work... and that selfie was pretty sweet!!
Thanks a lot Mike, really appreciate you watching.
@@nightscapeimages.richard thanks for the reply. I did a selfie and failed horribly. Will be making that video soon. But I am currently making a video of how to use Sequator for light polution.
@@mrmtruckermax2 Fantastic Mike, I'll certainly have a look at that one. I've just filmed a coming episode about nightscape selfies .. will be a few weeks away though.
@@nightscapeimages.richard sweet!! I'll be watchin for it.. thanks again
That star tracked time lapse was absolutely gold.
Really glad you enjoyed it, thanks so much
Lot's of work you have put into these shots but man, you have been rewarded so awesomely!!!!
Thanks heaps for the comments. Yes lots of work but certainly worth it.
Excellent video, Richard. I love the explanation you gave how it’s all done.
Really appreciate you watching again Ivo, thanks so much.
Amazing!! Thanks for sharing!! =)
Thanks heaps Antonio
Richard... you’re such a boss!! You’re a great inspiration!!
Very kind of you to say so my friend, means a lot.
You’re amazing and all your hard work shines through! I can’t imagine how much time you put into these! It’s one thing to take the amazing photos and timelapses you do, then NEXT level to document it all for everyone to learn! Thank you!
If you ever want to shoot in Chile, let me know and we can host you! 😉
@@twosheafilms Really appreciate your support
Thank you
Allo! My Milky Way Magician !😍 Again, such a wonderful and interesting video on night images techniques. You make me dream of beautiful nights, with the stars ✨, as the weather gets better here. I can’t wait anymore for that to happen. And ... Oh my God ! You have two D750 and a Z6 ... and maybe more ... 😮... and so many lenses. I’m a little jealous, there, dear! I’m still working with a cropped body camera but my goal is to get a full frame sooner or later and keep the other one anyway! Because, what’s good about it, is that i can work with this camera eyes closed or at night without much or no light because I know it so much. Again, you’re the best, my friend!
Hey Carole, you are a very loyal supporter and I appreciate that very much. I do have a lot of equipment but it's taken many years to build it up. I do photography as a profession and so I need the tools of the trade.
😍😘😍
Richard. You are a master of lightpainting. I learn a lot ofo with you and I would like live in Australia to view your workshops in live. Thanks
Really appreciated Juan, thanks so much for watching.
Your photos are magnificent. They spark so much emotion in me. And thank you for sharing the technical aspects of your works. God bless you.
Really appreciate your kind words my friend. Thanks so much.
Fascinating to watch as always. I particularly love the time lapse at the end without the Star Tracker. Seeing the impression of the sky moving in a stationary landscape is all the more powerful to the imagination.
Thanks again for watching Arnie, really appreciate your comments.
Excellent video and very good idea to take advantage of the night with several cameras
Really appreciate you watching Rodolfo
Wow stunning!
Thanks Dan
A tracked timelasps. That's really trippy.
Yes I've done a few of them.
So awesome. stunning
Thank you so much for watching
Another GREAT one Richard!
Thanks heaps Glen
Awesome work!
Really appreciate that Lutero
Love your enthusiasm! Great video!
Very kind of you to say Shelly, thank you
The timelapse with tracker is fantastic! Thanks for the ideas!
Thanks so much for watching, really appreciated
I admire your enthusiasm and your expertise and thank you for your generosity.
Thanks a lot for the comments, really appreciated
Absolutely love your work! The time lapse footage is stunning. Do you use the Nikon D750 for most of your night photography? I'm hoping to upgrade to a full frame camera soon. I'm a fan!!!
Thanks so much for watching Mary, and also for your kind comments. My most used camera these days is the Nikon Z6. I also have 2 x D750's which I love.
Using your light painting techniques immediately took my nightscapes from an okay amateur level to pro level work. Thanks for your tips!
Really pleased to hear that Chuck, thanks for watching
You've casually showed me I have a lot to learn with taking photography at night.
We all have lots to learn, thanks for watching
A very beautiful video
Many thanks for watching
Absolutelly amazing!!! It's been a long time since I got so excited watching a photografy channel. Really inspiring
Really appreciate you watching Ricardo, many thanks.
Another excellent video Richard as always. Looking forward to the next..
Really appreciate your comments Cliff
Amazing shots, stunning timelapse . You are just amazing Richard thank you, so much for sharing.
Very pleased you like the video Rajiv
Wow Richard, your works and the effort you put into them are amazing. Thank you for your knowledge. Unfortunately where I am in NY the light pollution is too much to get anything close to the art that you produce. After watching your videos it makes me want to move 😁 Thank you and keep them coming. They never get tired.
Thank you very much Allen, I appreciate your kind words
Great video & awesome pictures
Thanks very much Dave
Your work is incredible! I have been learning so much from your videos and I have been inspired to take night pictures. Thank you for being a great teacher!
Thank you so much Diana, really appreciate your comments.
Great stuff as usual Richard. Watching your previous videos has inspired me to try your method myself with great success so far. I just wish it was easier to find such awesome foreground subjects here. Looking forward to the next episode.
Thanks for watching Dean, appreciate it
Amazing work. You are my ispiration. Thank you 👍💜
I'm so pleased you like my work Penelope, thank you.
Like so many others, I think this is just spectacular!!! Wonderful work and thanks for the information!!!!

Beautifully creative shots! Thanks Mr. Richard
Thanks as always for your support Milorad
Real masterpiece
Thanks so much Jure
Brilliant , love it
Really appreciate that
Wow!!! Really awesome Richard.
I'm just starting to get interested in long exposure photography in urban settings and nature. Just watching this encourages me to keep going. Will continue to watch your progress.
Thanks so much for watching David and for leaving a comment.
Thank you, Richard. Just loved the way you teach and so generously share your knowledge to the "World". I wish more "Professional" photographer are like you.
You are always so kind Jenny but I certainly appreciate you and your comments.
Impressing work, really fantastic
Thanks a lot my friend
Deserves far more followers considering the quality and quantity of work here. Your efficiency hides the enormous effort and work involved in creating these images. Well done.
Thanks so much for watching Graham and for the encouraging comments.
Looked like a VERY busy night. I think I was anxious for you with all that action going on at the same time :-) Brilliant video and stunning output. Absolutely love that still image. Thank you for sharing. Must be very challenging shooting video at night even with lights.
Thanks so much Randall, yes it certainly is challenging at night
I’ve said it countless times before and I don’t think i will ever stop saying it.
WOW amazing.
Love your videos and love the end results. Thank you
Your comments and encouragement are really valued Glen, thanks so much
You have a great channel. Autoplay found you for me and I'm glad it did. Cheers.
Really appreciate that you found the channel Sam
I am just getting addicted to this, what an amazing shoot. I went for my first ever astro shoot and its such hard work, but the feeling is beyond words to express.
Thank you very much for your kind words.
Just subscribed :) Astrophotography is what got me into the photography in the first place, I absolutely love all things space.
Unfortunately here in Ireland you get light pollution nearly anywhere you go, the only places with significant dark skies are too far from me
Thanks for watching Vincent, really appreciate it
Yeah that's true Vincent. I live in the Midlands and I have managed to find a few of spots with minimal light pollution like in the bogs and along the river inny bank
Another great Video Richard Your channel is my number 1 You Tube Channel - well done with more stunning creations
Really appreciate that Chris
I don't get inspired by much in photography like I did watching this anymore. Your video has rekindled a fire to get out there and just do it. It's easy to get into a rut and just stay there. Thank you for the inspiration!
It's so good to read your great comments. My desire is to see people inspired to get out under the stars
Richard, I’ve learned so much watching every single video from your channel. Feel ready to give it a try on myself!
THANK YOU for your dedication and patience!
Thanks very much Gonzalo, your comments are very much appreciated
Absolutely incredible.
Thanks a lot Terry
Outstanding work as usual. The 15 second single exposure is an absolute delight.
Thanks Robert, and actually a last minute addition on the night.
I don’t think people grasp the amount of work that is involved in Milkyway photography.
Thanks Josh, and that's not even mentioning the filming of these trips whilst shooting them also.
Nightscape Images I couldn’t imagine. What’s your thoughts on Nikon Z 58mm f0.95? It’s a rumored 6,000 U.S. Dollars!
Hey Josh I think it's well and truly priced out of the reach of most people. It will be an amazing low light lens though that's for sure.
That's true. Yet many of them reacts very negative when I told that it Is many photos stacked together. For them photo that was digitally modified fake. It's not natural... that sad. And even sadder thing is that vast majority of them never saw night sky outside but city.
I don't worry too much about that Artur. I know from experience that the most critical people have no concept of how we create these images so it's easier to put them in a "Not real Photography" box. Photography always has been and always will be an artistic expression, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Wonderful Video! "Action Packed" this statement made me laugh! I thought how is a timelapse action packed? Yet 2 minutes into the video I Realized this was not a joke! 2 Timelapses 1 on a star tracker, 1 static shot with light painting, plus all the vlogging!!! And every picture crystal clear masterpieces! You are a beast! Enjoy your attention to detail in every composition! Pleasure to watch a True Master at Work! Thank you!!!
You are very kind indeed Joshua, really appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment
Hi Richard. I recently subscribed to your channel and must congratulate you on your videos, they are so interesting and enjoyable. I am very much looking forward to more of your creations.
Thanks so much for your comment Mike really appreciated
this is spectacular!! amazing time lapse
Thank you very much for watching
Outstanding, looks like the wind died down later on the timelapse. Bet you are snoozing all day.
Thanks Bruce, always lots of sleep after the event. Yes the wind was stronger earlier in the evening.
If you could only afford one lens, would it be the 35 1.4 ?
Well that's a hard question Bruce. For me shooting on the Nikon system I think it would be the Nikon 20mm f1.8. Having said that I love the Sigma art 35 f1.4 also.
@@nightscapeimages.richard going to get the d750 and a lens in a day or so . Had planned on the Sigma 14-24 art but not sure after your suggestion of the edges being not sharp.
Hey Bruce, I've had further discussion with a guy who uses that Sigma 14-24 and he reckons it's super sharp so maybe I wasn't totally accurate with my assessment as I didn't actually use the lens myself.
Absolutely amazing. Thanks for taking us with you and sharing all your knowledge. Cant wait to try what I have learned from your videos. Milky way season is beginning to start now in the middle of germany. Avoiding light pollution will be not so easy...
Really appreciate you watching and commenting
Great job, Richard !!!
Thank you so much for watching

@@wazytiddy I'd like to get there one day ... not sure when though.

Awesome video. I really can't add to the comments made below, just awesome!!
Really appreciate your comment Tim, thanks for watching
The time lapses are so gorgeous. The farm equipments are just wonderful subjects to include in Milkyway timelapse and photos. Great video.
Really appreciated, thanks for watching
Outstanding!! Man that rig that tracked the movement does a stellar job! And the light painting on the plough... wow 😁👍
Thanks mate really appreciate that. I use the tracker fairly sparingly but it does a great job. Light painting is my specialty and I've been working on it for years now.
One word, 'WOW'... Brilliant quality images Richard. Thanks for sharing such a detailed tutorial. Keep clicking ;) (y)
Many thanks Vishu
That timelapse was awesome! And quite fun with you shining the flashlight around in the background in the last timelapse :-D
Thanks Tommy, yes that was me lighting the old plough further away and I didn't realise it would be in the shot.
@@nightscapeimages.richard some day i also would like to assist you sir... i love creating light trail, and this type of time lapse.. great work done by you and your team... keep it up...
Thanks so much

I guess you have a tutorial how to freeze people in a long exposure.
@@Ib3119cz I have a couple of videos on that topic but i will be doing more.
These videos are so inspiring, they really help keep me motivated. Thanks so much.

That was quick! Thank you for the video, I am inspired to get out under the stars! 👍
I'm so glad to see you're inspired Tom, thanks for watching
Another great video, the timelapse is just amazing and so is the old tractor image ... genius This might be a silly question but here it goes. Do you worry about getting too close to a nighttime creature that might do you harm?
Thanks for the comments Walter. I never worry about night time creatures ... generally they are all asleep.
Been subscribed to you for a few weeks now, great videos, you deserve soo many more subscribers. Keep up the good work! :)
Your support is greatly appreciated Steve, thanks so much
Appreciate all the work and effort that go into these videos well done Richard, big thumb's up👍

What are the settings for the black shoots? Thank you! So educational and inspiring!! =)
Thanks for watching Antonio .. the dark frame settings are exactly the same as the light frame settings.
Another top video. Just wanted to say I've used your advice from a star trail video and have to admit I've taken what I would class my best photo so far. So thank you.
That's absolutely fantastic Lawrence ... great effort.
