I love doing simple resets in Meshmixer (Free). If you are doing full aligner treatments (5+ aligners) I highly recommend you call Forestadent USA. They can design a full arch case with video and includes all stl files ready to print for a very affordable price instead of you using software like 3 shape or exocad

Old school method was to cut out the teeth with a saw by hand and reset the teeth in wax. Looks like it's much simpler nowadays.
