Right when you started I thought about the 3d manipulation to add a tooth, and you went right to it. But the cutting of a channel in the printed model for Mechanical retention like when setting a tooth for a flex partial was a boss move. Super super clever.
I like how you add the tooth using the tooth library. I noticed you didn't address occlusion. I would recommend Highlighting the opposing arch and turning on the magnet tool in the image viewer. Select your newly placed tooth and using the magnet tool, you can get it to perfectly adapt to the opposing dentition.Turn off the magnet tool and use The robust smooth tool to give yourself a bit of space between the new tooth and the opposer. You'll find that no adjustment is needed when the retainer is delivered.
I'm not sure about using meshmixer for checking articulation. 🤔 I know there are other programs that you can do this. Typically if possible (have a lower model) I hand adjust any interference etc
Hi! Thank you for the informative video. You mentioned two layers of Celoform as insulation (4:19 minutes in to the video) Looks interesting. What is that and how do you apply it?
It's called siliform seperator. It's a liquid seperator that you apply with a brush. Let dry and then add another coat. Otherwise the acrylic tooth will stick to the model. Thanks for 👀 watching
The magic is definitely putting in the undercut and allowing the acrylic to flow around it. I've never tried anything but acrylic. The only other way to that has worked for me in the past is using a light cure seal material like PALA. Not glue, it will always fall out
but how about the color of their tooth how do you get it as close to their theeth color im asking cuz i'm getting retainers soon and with a tooth in them but i nocticed that my dentist didnt talk about the color of the tooth at all @@SzaraDentalLab
Ok great so for all this effort and expense in production, time, and materials what is the patient being charged? Insurance isn’t paying jack for these I’m sure ANd the PT will still need the 3 unit bridge… soooo what are we charging to the patient for this?
Voted most helpful video of 2023🎉
Thank you Perry. Best comment all year!

The groove cutting makes a huge difference. Thank you for watching and commenting

Im a dental assistant but i think id rather do this kind of work instead, in a lab. Thanks for sharing
are we able to use mesh mixer to check the bite after we create the tooth? or how can we do that? Great tutorial, love it.

Cannot like this video enough. This is exactly what I’m wanting to do👌could you use light cure?

Can you use composite or 3d resin? Or does the jet adhere to the Essex material or is the magic the undercut?

3D Resin or a composite would probably work just fine if I had to guess. Again Flowing material around and in a GOOD undercut
How do you clean off the fogginess in the essix after clearing off the excess? I tried with a blade but it still looks rough/foggy
Try adding a little mineral oil like seen in some of my other videos. (How to make a nightguard)
The hard soft video or flat plane one?
HOW DO YOU CLEAN THE SYRINGE TO USE MORE TIMES ? HOW DO YOU REMOVE THE RESIN THAT IS LEFT
easy i just push it through before it gets to be too hard
Genius!!!!
well i wouldn't go that far. lol
Can i paint my missing tooth on my Invisalign?
You make these fir people without seeing them in person
Yes

Great idea, thanks for sharing.
So welcome Duncan. Thanks for taking the time to actually tell me

We charge $550
we do these for under 50$ here in iraq xddddd
@@jezzum62 I think 550 is fair. A single tooth flipper partial is 600. So makes sense
@@AhmedWissam wow that is insane! How much does a 3 unit bridge cost in Iraq?
@@thepatternforms859 from 300$ to 500$ for zirconia depending on the city the doctor lives in
And this cost including the lab + clincal work
HOW DO YOU CLEAN THE SYRINGE TO USE MORE TIMES ? HOW DO YOU REMOVE THE RESIN THAT IS LEFT
I just push it out before it completely hardens. I use each syringe multiple times
