I got 13 correct answer! I get hugely nervous with this kind of exercise but I love them...lol. I need to improve my listening! Please make more videos like that. It's a suffering but I like!
This is an useful practice due to the presenter dictate the numbers as happen in real life, it means in a normal speed. Yesterday was my first day in a customer service position, and it was a big challenge understand people by phone dictating their numbers in a high-speed way!! Of course I had to ask for repeating so I realized that I need more practice taking notes or write down numbers and letters. Thanks for the video, it was a great tool to improve my listening skills.

Last week i started working at a call center and i'm having some hard time trying to understand customer's phones numbers, so this is extremely useful for me, than you :)

Hey there, the video is good, the speed is perfect to practice for an International English exam, but the only thing I didn`t like was that all numbers started with 0, where is the variety?
because they are all phone numbers

It is supposed to measure your listening skill, hearing, and understanding, and not your ability to memorize or intelligence, because it is a language test, not IQ.
When tried such kind of video i found 7. Now After practising it a lot i found 17.

Understanding numbers is a difficult task in a foreign language. It is also a very important task because numbers are everywhere, especially phone numbers. The purpose of this video is to help students practise understanding numbers when native speakers are talking quickly. Yes, of course we can ask people to repeat. But if someone has to ask people to repeat every time, it probably means that they need to improve their listening comprehension skills.

Something that helped me answer correctly: is that you repeat each number block he says in a quiet voice or out loud, and when you finish the first block repeat the other block quickly and etc. So the key for me was just repeating!!

The first set of numbers is the area code, eg 0121 is Birmingham, whereas 01902 is Wolverhampton, if you notice, Birmingham has one less number in the area code, this means that it will have *one* more number in the actual telephone number, i.e. 0121 358 2378 as opposed to 01902 741741. This is because the area covered by the Birmingham dialling code is much larger than the Wolverhampton dialling code and so give the ooportunity to generate more telephone numbers.

It's difficult tho, because in my country when you spelling number we used to say.. Let me give you example 0750 (zero seven fifty).
then you meet english style 0750 (ou seven ou five).
I've been trying so hard to making my mind synchronize with my hand.
So its good video to watch.
My first language is English and I'm practising this skill because I find processing numbers I hear so difficult 😅 I avoid phone calls because of the struggle so thanks for this video it helps!

i find this type of listening task sooo hard. I get nervous and try to memorize several numbers and only then write them but i FORGET THEM😭 is there anything else that can help me to fix this except practicing a lot?
