Thank you for watching :). Hmm... I'm not sure how to explain it without demonstrating it :). For the D the tongue needs to touch the roof of your mouth. The V is mainly made by touching your bottom lip to your top teeth.

Is American English spelling names and intonation the same? I thought they make groups of 3 or 4 letters, to me this lady makes groups of 2 and 3 letters.

Some people use the NATO phonetic alphabet, but most native speakers don't know all of it:
