I totally understand your emotion at letting go of the van. Gillian I love your mannerism of saying "yeah" to end or begin a thought - it reminds me of my granddaughter, she does it exactly like you do.
Love watching your journey. Thanks for sharing with us all. Here I am a 50 yr old man dreaming of doing the things you two have done. Wish we would have lived a bit before kids. We will still do it but much older. Stay safe!
G & J: I am new to watching Blue Moon Life and have enjoyed watching ALL your videos. I'm not sure how many you have as I have seen about 25 or so. Gillian, I truly admire your genuine, "chuckling disposition" about EVERYTHING, and Jonas your "measure twice and cut once" personality. I certainly hope you two make it to where ever you are going. Thank you for sharing Canada Life! I certainly plan to comment on future videos. Best of luck!
Great memories with more to come down the road. I envy you your life aboard Blue Moon - brings back many wonderful memories. Thank you for sharing. Live life to the fullest and all things good will come to you. Be safe. Love you , Claude.
I guess thats one of the facts of life, having to part with possessions when you can no longer make use of them. At least you have the videos and memories to look back on. I can see a time coming when you make an even bigger change, and move up in size from "Blue Moon", that will be devastating to you. At least the van was short term, and going to someone who wants to resurrect her. Looking forward to following your 2023 summer.
Yes, it's hard to part sometimes but you're right, it's all part of life. And we are so happy to be able to look back on some amazing memories! Thanks John :D
Great video but sad... I could feel your pain. Look ahead and not back, things will look much brighter in the future. New van (or camper) and new adventures will take the pain away.
I remember when I had to sell my VW Bug (Original "Käfer") after 10 years due to endless technical failures and not enough room in the car. It was pretty terrible, to be honest. You can surely find some nice replacement for the Delica and go on tour again!

It's bitter sweet now, but only the sweet will remain.

@@BlueMoonLife And those you will always have. Being able to look back at your videos will be like living it all over again.
A beautiful tribute.
Memories are better than dreams , maybe sad to let the van go, but it opens opportunities for more adventures in the future 😃☕️🍻
You'll have to solve mysteries from the boat now. It'll be fun.

We do get attached to our vehicles. Good memories are associated with them.

You two are incredibly capable people. Whatever the future brings you will handle it with aplomb. It's hard saying goodby to your first home.
Thanks Mark :D It is hard to say goodbye... but we're excited to see what's next!
@@BlueMoonLife Maybe some south sea island hopping. ;-)
❤❤🥰🥰
Well you boat is much more luxury than the van, so get up that anchor and sail. Looking ahead, not back!
It's so sad that you had to sell it over an engine failure. As a mechanic, I see this sadly to often.
Not the vannnn!! 🙂
What can't she do, right guys...
Not sure how you do it ?
Gillian you seem like a woman that should become an RN. That would be a great job for you lots of money
I'm new and I'm wondering why you think your van is so important to me that you can't stop talking about it ? Helpful criticism.
