A Christmas Song at Whitefish Mountain Resort, Montana

We had a beautiful inversion today here in Whitefish, so packed up my guitar, Lumix G7 cameras, zoom recorder, and skinned up the mountain on my splitboard to shoot this video. I carried 35 lbs of gear on my back to pull this off- hope you dig it ;-)

All audio was recorded in one take on a Zoom H6. Reverb and EQ were added in post with UAD plugins.

My iPad was sending out the most wonderful vibes this morning. These were generated by you. Thanks for changing my life and the whole world for good. Thanks for all you had to do to get to this point - lessons, practice, climbing the mountain, filming and just carrying that instrument and keeping it tuned on a very snowy and cold day. I hope your hands are warmed up and you will continue to do such lovely and wonderful playing. Also - great recording, mixing, producing all things well effected.

I see that you have traded the sand and ocean for the snow and mountains. I love Montana. Did a shout time in school in Missoula.

Hey Doug- yeah I moved out here about 3 years ago. We love Montana, but Hilton head wasn’t all bad either. Glad you found me here on TH-cam- thanks for the follow and like🤓
