Wonderful! You really make that tele sing!

I installed the Thunder V2 pickup in the bridge of my Fender MIM FSR Jaguar, and i think it sounds amazing. I did the installation myself, no prior soldering experience, and it turned out pretty decent! The separation of the bass signal is my favorite thing about ALT. I’m currently using it with a Scarlett interface and running it through a VST bass rig to track bass for an EP, and the sound is phenomenal. It lets me get a real sounding bass tone that complements my guitar rig, which is amazing for jamming and riff-writing, without interfering with the main guitar tone. The sound is accurate, full, and clean-much better than any octave pedal I’ve used. The 2 octave mode is great for effects like bass drops and slides. I tune all my guitars to Open D/C#, which works very well with ALT. It allows me to strum full chords and play riffs while maintaining that solid root bass note. The humbucker sounds pretty good on electric, but with my pots, i need the tone rolled back, and it doesn't blend well at all with the stock neck pickup while in the middle position. Swapping that neck pickup out soon though. I had to place the battery under the pickup in the cavity, which raised it and required me to adjust my action. I switched to lighter strings to compensate, but it’s something to keep in mind as some guitars may not have enough depth for the battery placement. Wish the LEDs were dimmer, they are insanely bright anywhere but a stage. Also, I think they should of kept the ALT logo on the pickup, it looked better. Overall, this is one of the most innovative pieces of musical equipment out there. Great in depth video!

Great review, I've had one on order since the end of May. I'm looking forward to using this in my electric. After watching this I might order another one to put on in my acoustic!

The OC5 has a low priority mode as well. Though it ain't perfect, and takes a bit of practice. I've had my ALT V2 on order since '21. Your video gives me a little hope that it WILL indeed arrive! 🤞🏻
