Pretty good beginner set I'd say, nice to see prybars appearing in kits. Totally agree with your suggested improvements. On the grand scheme of things, more hooks and rakes are always more useful than key extractors and probes.

While they look nice, they are a bit on the pricey side.
Gary Rumain they are a premium price, but they are also a bargain for what you are getting IMO. They offer handle-less picks for less than half the price too :-)
Nice review :) I've used my set of these picks quite extensively now, and can honestly say that the 'medium' hook is fast becoming one of my go to hooks! Great stuff :)

It will be interesting to see how these fare in the field as far as durability. More hook options in future would be nice but a decent set overall.🍺😎

Good review! they look like good Qaulity picks I've seen another review and it was also very positive.. I agree with you about the key extractor I'd have preferred a offset hybrid or another rake. "Lawlocks" replied to one of my comments on another review video and they're are more pic profiles in the works 👍

Lock Noob cost & pick selection there is not many of them & the bypass tool isn’t needed as there ain’t many locks that’s can bypass this way
Ohh & tensions tools not enough of them

About the sugestion on picks profiles, a workm rake and a medium hook, I agree on the need. Unfortunately looks like they dont produce them. They put all they make in the kit and ended with a solid kit. It beats other kits providing three top of the keyway tension tools. But lacks in finishing (madbobs and multipick finishing is great)
Well, I spoke to the owner and he is working on more profiles so watch this space :-)
Are there any beginner kits to buy? I’ve recently (2 hours ago) discovered these lock videos and it looks like something I want to try. Looks like it could be a good hobby for me oddly enough. Are there any cheap beginner pics available in the UK that you know of? Cheers
Cheap isn’t always best. There are lots of cheap Chinese’s kits on amazon that will get you started, but they won’t last long. Check out the Southord c1510 kit on amazon for something reasonable :-)
Lock Noob Damn, I wish I was this reply before. I ended up buying a Sparrows Kick Start set. It seems to be for beginners and there's an expansion I can get at a later date. £22.95 off uklockpickers but it doesn't come with as much as the one you recommended, hopefully it is decent. Cheers :)
So a decent everyday carry ?
Ideal for a working locksmith, with a basic setup ,or a very minimalist kit.
In my opinion, I have some of these tools ordered, so just waiting for them to arrive, I opted for the no handles, half diamond, knife, key extractor, and pri bars.
Reason for the no handles is I currently use a southord C500 set as my EDC, this only has one tension tool also with these added would be a bit tight, but it is a work in progress.
Just ideas at the moment.

Very nice picks. I like the fact that they chuck into the kit an extractor and bypass tool. Kind of makes it a complete kit. Well almost, if they had chucked in a couple of more variant picks for the price it would be a really good deal.
A couple more picks would be great :-)

I love those picks!! I just installed 50k worth of locks in a certain middle eastern embassy the other night and for fun i tried picking the lock with no success. So technically i just insured international safety. Lol im jk. But i loved your review so thank you for that!! 💚💜

Of course you and bill release this review on the same day almost at the same time. I am not saying anyone is copying anyone or anything I just think it's funny.
The important thing to remember here is that mine came out 2 hours before his 😜🤪😂😂 it’s rare this type of thing happens, but it’s bound to from time to time with new kit especially # besides, my channel is but a drop in the ocean compared to Bill’s :-)
@@LockNoob for sure. You see this all over the tech review channels. I'm not quite sure how bills channel exploded like it did but I know if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be into this hobby. I started watching him about 4 maybe 5 years ago after TH-cam suggested a video of his to me (I think) and then 2 years later I finally bought a pick set. I had just been experimenting with my home made picks but since I had never seen a commercial made pick I had no idea what I was doing. But now 2 years after that I am finally getting into the hobby.
x9x9x9x9x9 yeah, me too, B.B. definitely inspired me when I was starting up my channel. The reason he (deservedly) blew up is that he was one of the pioneers of TH-cam lock picking - not many people were doing what he was back in the day and he had talent and most importantly, charm and personality. It’s a lot, lot harder to get a large subscribership in the same area now since there are so many more pickers, it’s hard to stand out :-)
Fully understandable. I do have a question though why do you (and lockpickinglawyer) put the episode number in front of the title like Bill? Is it kinda like a marker of "this is a locksport video" or something else?

Only letdown for me would be is that its lacking in hooks.
Would rather 2 extra hooks instead of the extractor and bypass picks.
The bypass is great for cheap padlocks, I do agree on the extractor.
@@bradbury9 👍🐵 yeah it is handy to have, as cheap padlocks are used more commonly than a high security padlocks.
True but as a caretaker the extractor is handy for me even though i have a home-brew one :] good vid. LN

Hmm very nice picks, nice handles but they look like they will need some sandpaper and a polish. I think they are worth theyr money👍.

Sorry to say but for £66 quid for some fancy handles I think is a bit much for 13 items but then again I'm a bit of a cheapskate, I just like to get my monies worth ;-)
I think that it would make sense if you like a larger handle as ther isn’t a lot like it commercially available, but it isn’t super cheap for sure :-)
Paying for UK made , saying that it would be nice to see "UK" stamped/deep lasered on pick & perhaps even "LLT" :)

My dirt cheap Chinese kit has a lot more hooks than this super expensive kit.
I agree that more hooks would be a bonus, but that doesn’t impact on the quality here :-)
maybe one day there will also be a small dimple flag in a normal pick kit.

Multipick are great for sure, but you do get some excellent TOK tensioners and some wider/longer handles which are a USP for this kit :-)
That's a great review, LN, I love the design of these. I know what you mean about having another hook and have to agree it would be a great addition, I'm sure that Law Lock Tools will be thinking of adding single picks at some point. Hopefully I'm getting this set for my birthday which is why I have held off purchasing them.
I know they are looking to expand their range :-)
Wow handles!! ,and boy those handles look good.... Now. The finish looked horrible!. My cheap bang good set was about as rough looking LOL For that price I would have been pissed, Maybe they look better in real life?
I don’t think the finish is all that bad TBH at least, nothing is sharp on the handles :-)
