If someone a few years ago had said I would feel a quiver of excitement about the prospect of watching a video mainly about a 17 year old Vauxhall Corsa going through a car wash I might not have believed them. But as always, marvellous and the rest of my day will now be a good day. More lint roller action please!

The car is beautiful, wears it's history well. There was a guy a while ago trying to start a movement to repair cars using the japanese kintsugi method of making the repair more beautiful than the original. Then there's the guys that do drifting that repair their panels using cable ties, called drift stitching. Thanks for the drive 👍🇦🇺

It is nice to see someone show appreciation for a tired old car, everyone seems to love to hate cars now, yet I have definitely grown to love the cars I have driven for tens of thousands of miles. Each dent and imperfection tells a story and the freedom to just jump in a car and drive wherever you want isn't appreciated enough. A few friends and I drove to John O'Groats for lunch in kitcars ten years ago, 1400 miles in three days, brilliant, but no dash cam footage sadly. Keep up the good work 😁

Love your stuff, and my 7 year old loves it too - she is a zen driver in the making. You know a polarising filter over the camera removes all reflections from the dash, that's what they're for.
As a fellow Vauxhall Corsa driver I admired your tape on the roof. The quality of the electric window faults is high too, we couldn't get a doesn't want to close' fault but had to settle for a random 'sometimes the switch needs to be pressed continuously, sometimes it doesn't' fault.
On my way to a job this morning and thought of you after seeing a man blasting cool tunes and painting triangles on a hump in the road and now see this video. A true sign of happy zen days. :-)

I had this idea but I never fully realized it, so I thought I'd tell you here so that it's not lost forever. I went to London a few months ago. Based on previous videos, I was able to discover exactly where the white coat men and their meaty truck sit via GoogleMaps. I thought that I would go there and wait for you, as you finished one of your adventurous filming days. Then right when you passed the truck and were getting ready to park, I would jump out in front of your car, making you stop, and challenge you to a rap battle. I used to be a rapper, so I thought I could get at least a few rounds in. And all recorded on the dash cam. But unfortunately when I went to London, I was busy and you were really far from where I was. But it's an amazing dream right? I also used to be a bike messenger, so as I was thinking about what my battle bars might be like, I was imagining bike versus car. I could have been epic. Maybe next time. 08:46 it once took me 15 maneuvers to reverse to back of my house. All neighbours was like " what is this dude doing"? At the end i accidentally pressed the horn quite long, making this more awkward as everybody was looking at me. 🤣
Love your videos, I have a 2017 Vauxhall Astra, and when the window gets to the top, it sometimes changes it's mind and goes back down, must be a Vauxhall thing.

If only your Corsa could talk, the tales it would tell. Your videos are a great antidote to the horrible times we are living in, I wish there were more.
When you're not filming, what music do you play? And do you notice any difficulty picking up "community" radio stations these days? Also I have a probable solution for the door window problem. It might be caused by the fingertrap feature, if the rubber seals are stiff or really dirty, and cos the glass is curved, it can jam and trigger the window motor to reverse. Try and spray soap in between them. In
The stock radio in one of these old Corsas can be surprisingly good on FM - but if you are having trouble with radio reception (of community radio stations, pirates or anything else low power) in your car, particularly if you are powering a dashcam, satnav or other gadget(s) from the 12V socket, pay attention to 12V to 5V USB converters - the circuits in these things can cause interference. You might find attaching ferrite beads/cores to the power cable reduces this (these can be bought from electronics component shops).
The gentle beep requires improvement, however, part two should include a spare wheel reveal. Personally, I prefer a full sized spare wheel even in a new car...
Thank you Ogmios. The motorcyclist was riding in an overly agressive manner and not particularly safe but the BMW driver seemed to think it was his responsibility to curtail his enthusiasm. He obviously doesn't subscribe to the Ogmios School of Zen Motoring. A shame - it would do him good 👍🙏

That window issue is due to one of the guides being worn. It senses increased resistance in the motor and reverses. Its primary function is to prevent decapitation of small humans and creatures. It's an annoyance but relatively easily fixed. If you can be arsed, unlike me...
I've just lost all my money in a bitcoin scam, my wife and dog have just walked out on me, and the Police are at the door, asking about buried bodies under the garden patio....but a new Ogmios video has been posted, so I'm feeling pretty relaxed...
Gotta say I'm kinda worried about how much longer that car can hold out. Wouldn't like to see the zen master without a car. Or perhaps that's the next nirvana level of zen motoring. Kind of want to start a gofundme for a new car. You need to get some merch. Need to bring back that show Pimp my ride so og can get a proper zen mobile with a professionally installed gentle beep horn.
