Thanks to everyone for playing and rating! I am so happy to say that this game placed #72 overall! Looking forward to next year's jam, and congrats to everyone that finished a game!
Just played through it, awesome work, love the sounds and how it feels. The juice is incredible, and honestly I think these mechanics could be expanded. Love how it felt like a bullet hell with the boss as well, great job!
I love this game, it's got such a fun style. One idea that may be cool if you ever wanted to expand this was making the player's health the dice. Like you start with 4, and if you take damage every time from then on you only have 3 dice. It'd be thematic with the enemy health being dice, and it'd add a lot of tension as you took damage, because you'd be reloading more often
awesome game idea and execution! the dev log was really interesting to follow too :D Maybe out of scope for a game jam, but would have been interesting if there was a mechanic to stop the player from just spamming dice at the enemy until the correct one was queued up. off the top of my head, maybe a system like if you shoot an enemy with the wrong die, that die gets added to the enemies queue, effectively increasing their health. edit: just played through the game, and honestly it was pretty challenging as it is. maybe this idea would be good for a "hard" mode haha. was very smooth, the sounds and animations felt really good!
game looks really fun, in regards of how simple it is. I would love to see a burst shot to have the randomness advance quicker if you just got unlucky and didn't roll the correct die. maybe as a power-up?
this game looks nice hope you can continue it also i think you could put a new enemy which would do the same attack as the first enemy but just have more health
Hey just coming across your content is you udemy course in C#? I am looking for Godot resources on C# related I need better understanding of strong type languages
Congrats on getting into the top 100! Was a really fun game. Almost made the top 20, it was on the shortlist!

The exclamation point was a brilliant and simple idea.
i love your animations, its looks so lively
I liked the fact someone is actually using C# with Godot, not many tutorials for Godot with C#
Looks incredible! Really loved the feel of the game, specially the animations.
You now have another sub! Keep going man you're doing fantastic.

this looks great!
This makes me really love godot
this game is incredible, but if you add new dice to the enemy of the player hit it with the wrong dice this idea adds more fun🙃

Super cool great work
Hey, do you use a special theme for Asesprite? I really like the dark mode look
It's just the built in dark mode theme on the aseprite beta branch (through Steam)
This does not feel like a jam game. So polished. And a GODOT fan tooo.
Godot for life! Haha
Well time for GMTK to introduce me to another cool TH-camr
oh, i've played this one! really cool entry!

It is not, unfortunately
@@FirebelleyGames all good I got it anyways
90% of the time it works every time.
Is the source code public?
I would like to peak through it.
The dash mechanic could've been a roll since you're also rolling some new dice ;) but hey, it's a jam prototype
holy moly
I had a good playing your game :D
is Source Code available for public ?? its great if its available.
Let me think about that, I will get back to you if I decide to do so!
That’s a lotta polish
Are you bright side?
I can confirm that I am not anyone named bright side, I do not even know who or what that is lol
Sounds like bright side
Good video
Congrats - you haven't made top 20, but the game still made it into the Mark's "Best GMTK Jam Games" video: th-cam.com/video/XNCGdi2A6fQ/w-d-xo.html
