Someone on the internet dared to call her looks average! Argue whether or not she's beautiful by "societal standards", but beautiful or not her face is far too unique to ever be called "average". Her eyes alone just strike you.
Her profile is stunning, beautiful lips, deep set blue eyes of which she did her own makeup to enhance her eyes and her gorgeous long fingers and nails. Wow. 👌🏻❤️
Whoa, it’s not every day that you get to see a leopard skin coat made of actual leopard skin. Apparently the costume budget for “Funny Girl” had an allowance for just FURS that would be the equivalent of over $50,000 today - insane.
Hey hey hey, Thomas James. One of my favourite films . It’s the story about this comedian, Fanny Brice. It’s mostly set in the 1920s - 1950x Now, it’s only 1:45 long. Please watch now for me, and I’ll watch it, too. Papa xx
@Thom Jaskula Ho ho! That's clever. Thanks for that trade secret. While we are at it, what do you think of the foley effects as Babs is walking down to the stage wing? (0:43) Those heels on concrete were surely added in post production. Too clean sounding and too distinct. They certainly did not mic her shoes.
The greatest movie debut ever.
Streisand was absolutely correct when she said in a much later interview: " I was too beautiful to play Fanny Brice"
I'm sorry but she was breathtaking. Her eyes are gorgeous, really! So deep.
What are you apologizing for

She’s absolutely gorgeous 💗
So much sadness in those two words
They told she would never be a star, let alone be on Broadway, but something funny happened
La Streisand in leopard print. The world doesn't get any better than this.

Absolutely iconic 😍😍😍👏👏👏

(1:23). The profile Babs hates to show. Hence sitting on the right side in an interview format.
I wonder why she hates it so much, I saw that shot and thought she looked so beautiful.

Fanny Brice Kelly price!
She sounds like a text-to-speech program
This isn't a slight.
Was she considered a tad 'heavy' in this movie?
No, you are thinking of her next film, "Hello, Dolly!"
