@user-iz4qj4ku7j Just spotted your comment. The pit stand has been featured in a few of my videos but I intend to do a sort of tutorial with a few templates as a guide.
Thanks. I'm quite busy at the moment so the next one will not be for a week or two unless I get a few moments to myself. Sorry about that. Thanks for taking the time to comment
Nice. Question - how big are your pockets? How do you fit all the veggies, and rectangular pot, in your pocket? 🤔Also, what do you use for keeping the seafood cold, and how do you carry that in your pocket ?😶
Sea to Summit. I did see one on a website, will post link in the description, in a pack of stuff called "Kitchen Bits." I picked it up decades ago so it doesn't look as if it's still available but you may find old stock somewhere. Hope that is of help.
I am loving this compact cooking system series! Pretty cool ideas you've come up with and I especially like your home made pot stand 👍
The pot stand works quite well. Over the years I have tried all sorts of pot stands and have settled on this.
@@EpicureanHikershow can we make this pot stand? Tutorial?

I love employing to two separate burners, eliminating the need to risk refueling a hot stove. Clever!

I'm told that I have deep pockets and short arms. Hope that helps.
My only question is, where did you get that grater?!?! My cook kit is solid, but the only thing I've been looking for is something to zest lemons.

@@EpicureanHikers haha damn it! I am in the States now, but was hiking the Te Araroa a few months ago and went by a ton of Bivouac stores. Thanks!
