Is there difference between KISS CUT and DIE CUT ?! You make kiss cut with a die. Die is an instrument KISS CUT is way of cutting. Just kissing the bottom layer. If you press way more then you may cutt bottom layer and that's problem.

Diecut is cut to shape all the way through.

Yes kiss cut don’t go through the backing or all the way.
