Back in elementary school, I used to design and sketch instead of listening to teachers. I always get in trouble bc of it. Now I’m circling back to my true passion but still have PTSD from it hahah. Love watching your video:)
I am Uni in the UK as a Digital media studying. I only found your TH-cam channel last Dec 21 I have M1 Mac Mini. I have got an old 2015 MacBook Pro that is working in MacOS. I use Adobe Illustrator, using my course, and freelance and never a designing sticker in Adobe Illustrator before.
What would be the easiest way to outline a vehicle in a picture and edit the background out so I can use it as a sticker? My current way is super difficult. I saw someone make illustrations from a picture and turn it into a sticker and it looks great.
I use photoshop, Id get illustrator but its just yoo expensive for me to have 2 monthly subscriptions, for photoshop i have the cheaper photography plan. I do have a older version of illustrator that I got from a site 7 or so years ago. Now that said i think there is a way on photoshop to turn things into a vector image. Id use illustrator but I find it more complicated even though I took classes in high school
I have a question for you. What size is the png image you are using to make the sticker, please? Because I have some great images but the size is causing me problems within illustrator?
You have to make sure your resolution and sizing is good! Just increase the DPI under your settings 😊 Also make sure to vectorize it in Adobe for scalability. I typically design on A4 paper sizing but just increase the artboard to fit my artwork.
It seems like all of the videos that talk about stickers forget to talk about setup for printing and cutting, illustrator lags when you have multiple verctors.
hey! is your illustration in black? and are you selecting the black and white image trace option or something else? it typically works best for me when I choose that setting and play with the threshold.
@@MeganWeeks my image is all white I did select the black and white option and I got the same outcome. A white square :/ Maybe I’ll try messing with the threshold

your videos are very good keep it up
Thank you!
Where have you been?😆😍
Love this video! Such cute illustrations x
are you use illustrator or photoshop

I have the same doubt!
If it’s vectorized, it becomes a mathematical image that can be resized.

You are really pretty!
Hi what is the canvas size for this ? Or what is the ideal canvas size for sticker making?
Wow love the content thank you for the tutorial! Btw where did you get that neon light 💡 sign “ON AIR”
Thank you! I actually got it from Home Goods one day!
what mouse you use with your macbook pro 16 inch
or with your working setup
I probably missed it...what printing company would you recommend?
I found a local printing company for this! Sticker mule is good online though
@@MeganWeeks thank you so much 😊
what is the minimum pixel for a good sticker?
How do you prevent it from pixelating when you download the drawing from procreate! And what size of a canvas do you use in illustrator and procreate?

How do u make the white go underneath?
Arrange >send to back
Hey great video, one question tho... if the original image was a PNG made in procreate, why vectorize it to only save it back as a PNG?
Good question! I always vectorize it to make it more versatile and easily editable. Also gives it a sharper look.
Okay got you, but you could also just use procreate and upload the PNG directly as well right?
Cause the finally product tends to be very small in a sense so the details aren't always gonna be viewable
@@remileallen2706 technically yes! Just make sure the resolution is sharp 😊
@@remileallen2706 yes exactly

I keep getting a white square when I do image trace 😅
Am I doing something wrong?
