Wow, it's a new experience watching this in 4k60 on my 65" TV. Usually quite grainy. Please continue doing this for the videos where it's possible (I guess on a roadtrip it's hard but when filming at home base maybe?).
Tim your finally starting to read comments and feel comfortable brad being on the channel with that unreal shop and collection. Other people talking as well bringing a whole other aspect to the channel
this is the first video from shmee that i have been able to watch in 1440p and above. whether that existed before i dont know but certainly didnt exist on my system. so cheers. more great quality content in great playback quality
The one thing I always missed in the Shmuseum was proper lighting. It's helpful if you film in there to hae everything as bright as possible, but it doesn't help the atmosphere and mood. With more of these strips and maybe some spotlights this place will turn into an even cooler garage!
Shmee150 Absolutely Incredible Video I think it's awesome that the Shmuseums Bathroom and Kitchenette are coming along well and I'm glad all of your Bendpak Auto Stackers finally have lighting and I think it looks absolutely incredible and I loved the Higher Video quality because it made the colors of the all Shmeemobiles pop
A great addition would be ED CHINA as your master mechanic. Working away in your shop corner. All repairs could be done in-house and would add more technical content.
You'd be amazed how often we switch things up, but it's also a balance with filming. This has been a test, it's stressful how much more time the bigger files take up though - and not leaving until gone midnight to get it done
@Shmee150 make sure your SD cards have decent read/write speeds. Also make sure your PC's storage is taking full advantage of quick M.2 SSDs. Love your videos! Don't let the stress take over.
I think a two post lift is a must it would work so well there . And I believe you have mentioned in the past that the guys from zenvo would come to service the said vehicle if you had such equipment.
With running the cable horizontal then vertical, the length you need changes as the lift goes up and down. If the cable could somehow run up the diagonal from the rear to the front, it would be much neater and there wouldn’t be extra cable trailing about at the rear.
It would be cool to make a road trip with the Clio RS. Maybe on a different continent. The stuff, that's usually being done in the higher end cars :) Looking forward to the next US tour with the GT though !
If you’re willing to do this (as it’ll be expensive and involves cutting into your slab), but a recessed (into the floor) scissor lift would be an excellent addition to the workshop, obviously going recessed into the floor is better considering all of the low cars you have
The prancing horse 🐎 would look good on the blue wall above where your electric car charger needs refitted still the silver against the blue will look good 👍🏼
Hey Tim, back when you had the E class estate i remember the team using the other side of the garage which was still empty as a service area. Maybe move the garage corner into that space ? you can easily convert it to a full on mod centre

i know you wont see my comment but if only if you will see it it's been a while since you've done the track there is an idea and a vision that i think it will transform the look of the track, lifts and everything on the wall! on the wall at the end of the track you should put a big mirror that will create an atmosphere that you have double the cars an unlimited track it will be useful in so many ways i think it's a great idea think about it!!!
an idea that comes to mind. In min 13:08 where you discuss the logos on the doors, how about you put like 3-4 decals of just the logo or name on each door. Sort of a f1 paddock hallway where you would see the sponsors of the team.

Some people use long soft springs as tensioners for keeping cords tidy. And hiding the springs inside slightly larger tubing while the springs extend and retract.

Those lights look mega. Imagine plugging in a random number generator and have that pick what car you're taking out for the day, by illuminating the car for you.
I’m sure I’ll get shot down for asking a really dim question, but which bit of the green hell does the track in the shed compare to? Really curious! I love it and if I had a garage like this, I’d probably do it! It’s fantastic how much progress time has made!
I give 6 weeks until the LED strips start to unstick themselves, and are draped/sucking to the cars. Those things are notorious for poor quality adhesive.
LED strips look great but they do have a tendency for the glue to fail and they start to fall away from where they are fitted. Might be worth finding some transparent gorilla tape or clear PPF to ensure they don't fall on the cars. Keep up the amazing content though !!! Love it.

We considered it but decided there was too much risk of it catching and causing a bigger problem

You can buy a metal casing that the led light sits in and put different diffusers on. Looks nicer
