    Sir, In ABR graph report, wave V is showing downwards near normal shaded area means wave v located downward of normal shaded area..Wave V:-80 Li is 3.82 ms, 70Li is 4.92ms and 60Li is 3.60 ms and other waves are absent..Sir,what is meaning that sir??

    Hello sir.., can the abr be used to know the type of hearing loss..? If its conductive loss or sensorineural h loss.. for infants case.. thanks.

    • @InteracousticsTV
      @InteracousticsTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Francis!
      Yes, ABR testing can be used to identify the nature of hearing loss in people of all ages, including infants. Bone conduction testing is required to establish whether the hearing loss is conductive, sensorineural or mixed.
      Best regards,
      Shane

    Did you also have a video with a focus on using ABR to measure the neurological function of the brainstem?

    • @InteracousticsTV
      @InteracousticsTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I couldn't find one Jenna (sorry!).
      We have a short written description on our website: www.interacoustics.com/guides/test/abr-tests/neuro-latency-testing

    Can you explain about temporary protocol set up?

    • @InteracousticsTV
      @InteracousticsTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for your interest. In the Eclipse the temporary protocol is a method of making quick changes to the test parameters for a single test only. It is accessed by pressing the "set up" button next to the protocol drop drown box. Inside the temporary settings you are able to change the stimulus settings , filters, recording properties, and display properties. Please note these are only saved temporarily, and if you require a permanent change then you should change the protocol in the system setup.

    Do hearing aid specialist perform ARB’s or just audiologist?

    • @InteracousticsTV
      @InteracousticsTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi!
      This depends on the country that you are in and the relations set by that country. Typically we see ABR most commonly performed by audiologists worldwide.
      Best,
      Shane
