Two explorers out on tour!! Looked like a great two days away together 😊 You certainly covered lots of ground despite the wet ground! The waterfalls really were fantastic and interesting how current maps don’t highlight these cool features.

We sure did Miriam, The legs were pulled out of us! Great time though. Gary set a great route. It did however take us places we could've done without like a dense conifer forest, we were totally covered in pine needles ha ha ha. Great adventure

Great video lads. Brilliant to see a sunset and sunrise, fairly rare so far this year. Amazing rainbow too, actually a double rainbow. We have rambled around there a few times while visiting the CHP of Monaghan, venturing through the three County Hollow and over to the top of Sleeve Beagh. One certainty, you'll never leave that area with dry feet.

Youre right Pat! There is no avoiding it up there. Its just one big bog. So beautiful though. And taking that route up was great to see so many other features in the landscape, its a fascinating place. The bog itself has been messed around so much though and could do with a little tlc

Alyn, maybe a mini expedition?😊 The waterfalls, rainbow and history were cool, as was visiting 3 counties👍 Good timing getting hunkered down before that rain appeared. Plenty of bog alright, did you use the lough for water? Cool that you stayed up for that sunset whilst Gary was snoring💤 Bog walking can be tough going👣

Gerry it was a brilliant trek. I think because it was all so inaccessible, it made it even more special. Finding the waterfalls, slogging our way through the waterlogged bog to the top, tough but class. It was a journey woven together with beautiful moments.

Exploring is the best. You guys did a good job of that here. It's feels so good to put some effort into getting somewhere them waterfalls being a fine example. Spectacular as was the bog bash. Yes, I love them peat hags and bogs - such interesting places. Well, a good pitch in the cool of night and in the remoteness of the big hills. Love it. Good going. Have a great week ahead. Mark

Thanks Mark. It was a really special one. There was so much to see and it really felt as if we were the first to see the waterfalls it was so difficult to get to. Sometimes I forget to take time to nosey around when I have a target in mind. Great experience

@@walkwatchers A pleasure. Hey, so good to hear of the falls. Yes, some places still feel wild and remote. Keep on nosing around. Have a great week ahead.

Official!? Of course! Did I forget to give you the badge and flag!? Ha ha ha.
Was a super weekend pal. Thank you for all the research, organising the route and for the drone footage, it was so good to show the vastness of where we were.
