I just replaced my OEM Michelins with Falken 265/40ZR21's and 295/35ZR21's on my 2021 Porsche Macan Turbo. Love these tires! Excellent tread life! Good looking tires! Quiet! And I smoked a 2023 BMW M3, the very first day after having them installed!
Where did you smoke that M3 RWD ? Was it in snow/wet, cos AWD and RWD (on dry) 2023 M3 will decimate your Macan? Even I do not waste money on gas if I see a Macan Turbo/GTS with my 2024 X3M that is a bit slower than M3 AWD.
I ran the gmax as-05 on my S4 and went through 3 tires in a whole year from hitting potholes/random occurrences. I switched to a falken fk510 UHP summer tire, drove them through the summer, a really cold winter and the tread was still superb when i sold them. Now i’m on the FK460 on my S5 and it eats pot holes for every meal of the day lol tread life is out of this world too
Would you recommend the 460 or the 510? I’m leaning towards the 460 for their treadwear and wet handling. I do enjoy some spirited driving, but don’t want to run through the 510s to quickly
@@jakethomas_419 i drive a stage 2 B9 S5 and considering its AWD, the 460 makes me spin through 1st and 2nd gear when it rains. Great when its dry out, but i cant say its amazing in the rain
I run the 265/40/21 on my Q5 and I can attest to the quality as well. I am super impressed with it! The cost is amazing too.

great review!.. I'm also rocking this exact tire on my 2018 Stinger GT AWD and i tell ya.. i've gone through some nasty potholes in Boston and did NO damage to these tires.. i've had them for about 6k miles now and they've performed great over the winter.. very impressed!.. great tires for the value!
Great video! Currently tire shopping for my X3M. Was just between PSAS4 and DWS06+ but now these Falkens are definitely in the running. The value proposition is pretty great too.

I have a 2021 Mazda6 Signature. I traded a 2020 Frontier SV 4x4 for it. The truck was lifted/leveled and riding on Cooper Discoverer A/T's. So Im somewhat of a tire snob. The 2 vehicles are worlds apart of course. Trucks are fun too, but can be a pain for various reasons. I saw the Mazda and fell deep in love! It came with Falkens of some sort from the factory. They're pretty good, Ive given them a thorough workout a few times. But the kicker was hitting a curb pulling in short at a gas station. The tire protected the rim well but took a chunk out of the sidewall. Amazingly it still holds air just fine. When these are done in I will be upgrading to the FK460s for sure. Falkens can take a beating for a car tire!
Looking into these to act as my new summer tires to pair with my Blizzaks. Appreciate the review. I live in upstate NY. Dedicated summer tires are not really worth it up here, so something like this makes way more sense.

"at least 600 wheel horsepower on e85 and the tires handled it without issue" I think you just sold me on some tires. I too have an SQ5 on E85 and need some budget tires due to life's circumstances, these sound like it.
Do you notice the weight of the tire, in my sizes there 4 lbs heavier per tire then michelin as4, thats alot.right

Have you ran the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 a/s or Continental DWS06 before? How would you compare the Falken to those? I live in Washington so a majority of my driving is in the rain.
I had the DWS06 previously, these are better. I have not ran the Pilot Sport 4 AS
That was horrible on the downhill .. if you had to stop from 15mph you’d just slide and loose steering.. and crash .. also you need to talk about wet performance which is more important then dry .. a frikin starfire or Chinese tire will grip a road in the dry
It just slides like a MF apparently. :/
