    I just happened to come across your video this morning and this afternoon ironically had to join text together on a project. Thanks for the great lesson. I’ve subscribed to your TH-cam now.

    These are really useful videos. Even if you know some of the information it’s always great to have a memory jog and a new perspective on how to use techniques you’ve used elsewhere. When you work on your own it’s like having a colleague stay “well try this instead”. Thanks so much.

    Thank you for this video it was MOST helpful! Can't wait to try it. Now I just need to figure out how to make some fonts "fatter", I have some really pretty cursive fonts that I would like to cut to put on signs and such but the details get a little too fine and "skinny". If I can figure out how to "fatten" them up I'll be in business!

      Hi, Thanks for watching 😀 I do have a video planned for making fonts fatter but all you would need to do is use the outline tool and offset a little bit, then delete the inner thinner lines which you won't need. I have lots more helpful videos on my channel too. Hope this helps, Thanks Gav

      @@ThemeXDigital Awesome thank you for that. I just tried it and I see how it works to make the text fatter but how do you get the inner part of the letter to stay around, such as the the loops in an l, e, or o? Sorry for so many questions but you just helped me immensely. I am so grateful for your advice.

      @@ShannonAlexGrobelny Hi, Do you mean when you delete the inner parts? If so then all you would need to do is probably weld the letters then release compound to separate the parts 😀

    Thank you for this tutorial I was able to weld text. I have a question regarding welding text to DFX file ornaments, how do you do that?

    • @ThemeXDigital
      @ThemeXDigital  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi, It doesn't really matter what format the drawing is in as they are all lines. What matters is making items as a compound path so you can weld them together. Hope this helps and I will be doing more tutorials on this kind of thing very soon 😀

    Great! Thanks for this. What if you have two lines of text, one under the other. Is there a way to join them without a conflict in the overlapping of the outline? Thanks

    • @ThemeXDigital
      @ThemeXDigital  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi, Its similar to this but you just need to be careful that the overlapping lines look correct and don't intersect too much, you can use small shapes as well to help join the words together such as stars etc.
      I will be making another tutorial on making signs which will help to show you what I mean very soon so please subscribe to be notified once its uploaded.
      Thanks Gav
