I think the blightlands would be a nice feature for the flood since not only will it infect mobs but it can infect the surrounding land as well, and as result pure forms would be made along with a existing gravemind
I think a cool detail would be when the ship crash event starts, it should say "it followed me home" as a reference to the middion Floodgate in Halo 3 instead of "they are here". Great mod btw :)
1:38 small tip if you want to do this again in the future there are two ways of making it so there isn't any spam command in the chat the first is to put the gamerule docommandoutput to false so that you don't see the results of commands in the chat and the second better one that does not require repeating command blocks is changing the gamerule dodaynight cycle to false so that time stays as a sun set.
This is one of if not the best infection mods out there imo. My only complaint with this is there is no toggle for the crosshair, to be turned off to the normal Minecraft crosshair, other than that, this is awesome
Is there plans to make the ship larger to possibly have a interior just like that one mission from halo 3 where your on a crashed crusier thats infested
I like how the ship crash is CAS class, could it be possible to make it like the Halo 3 cinematic with a CCS class coming out of Slipspace and into a controlled crash or is that asking too much for a set of animations?
Because the central selling point/focus of the mod is the infection aspect, you should at minimum add configuration options. While the features you add are actually pretty cool, sometimes there might be better ones in the forms of other mods, and might conflict if not configurable *also, the energy sword taking up so much space on the screen might get annoying

Can't say I'm a fan of the Enderman Form.. But It's at least somewhat possible to handle. Kinda.. But at least its kinda cool. also Two neat ideas.. Why not have a chance that a pelican or a UNSC Space Craft crashes with the flood.. or a phantom. Second.. I NEED some ODST armor cause yes.
If i may add i think the mod needs a bit of tinkering with the current content, mainly making the flood fire weapons much slower like in some of the halo games, almost makes them creepier, and giving them the ability to walk more frequently rather than running all the time would make them look like the flood in the halo games, mainly like halo 3. I'd also like for you guys to add a few new weapons, maybe add some unsc weapons like the assault rifle and smg and a few covenant weapons like the plasma rifle and carbine (not mentioning the unsc sniper since it's pretty much confirmed in the video). Now this next one might be a bit of a long shot but if it's possible can you find a way to make the mod more server compatible, because i've tried making a server based on this mod and it couldn't run. However even without what i mentioned the mod looks great and has a lot of potential. Well Done!

Tbh, I think it’d be refreshing if the Flood *Didn’t* have a true weakness to fire (They’d still take damage and Combat Forms killed by fire can’t be revived, but it’s regular damage that most mobs take), and they instead had no weakness or perhaps a different one, like cold temperatures maybe?
Nice update, but i have some problems with the compatability to other mods, including better combat or other mods that change things in first person. Also if you look at gun mods like, timeless&classics then you can tell that dawn of the flood isn‘t a gun mod it‘s just a Halo based infection mod.👍
@@JonasBuker-lu9ju True, to fix the compat you need to disable third person animations in the config. And your second statement is true, but that doesn't mean someone can tell us what and what not should we add. In halo guns exists, so those are a must.
I wanted to say that I love your mod, I really mean it, it is very entertaining to play but at the same time I think the same as the guy at the beginning of the video, the firearms feel out of place (especially if they are halo) I'm not saying That you have done a bad job with them, the animations seem great to me, even so it feels very unnecessary in the mod and as the guy at the beginning said there are already many other firearms mods.
It's a mod BASED on Halo. I don't give a damn about what people say about the guns, they need to be there. And it's crazy for you guys to think that when I struggled so much to add those and even refined the system.

Why don't you choose to change Gamerule instead of making command block? Man, please, for the future of this channel development, choose calm ambients and make it way more silent than your voice. When you're talking about important things and music interrupts is disgusting. Presentation is very important. Guns looks good, while the fog is doubtful. I have my own mods which interact with fog and other visual things. I'm afraid of conflicts between this aspect of mod and my modpack.
I think the fog should turn progressively more green as the infection continues, similar to how it looks in the high charity or floodgate missions

If you look closely the infection form can be seen in the top of the head inplying it infects it by entering directly in the head
