very cool account several years ago I had a baby trap and I trapped with it at C16/C17/C18/C21 and then brought it to a full solo trap at c25. Its really fun being able to go into fury but if you get good gear it will be obvious you are a trap, and as you know it is very challenging when everyone knows you are in infantry phalanx. If I were you, I'd take as long as you need to farm the F2P materials to get your gear all to legendary atleast. Since you have mainly F2P gear you definitely need to have it as maxed as you can. Every bit of extra stats you have will equal less losses and less time/money to recover those losses.

I would also try to really find kingdoms with smaller people, or less experienced players (big players with bad gear and bad knowledge). If you're open to upgrading your castle, I could go to C21 like others mentioned.

When I went from C16 to C17 I had 100m kills on the baby trap. Its all about baiting and choosing your target instead of letting others decide if they want to hit you. Find people who are very easy to trick and upset them by scouting/stealing monsters/tile hitting, and provoke those people to hit you. You don't want confident players who might know how to attack or counter you porting next to you and hitting. You want to choose the person or guild and then harrass them!
