I think between 11 am - 1 pm a daily activity hour under the sun ought to do it. Also I think you actually get more sunshine on cloudy days as the light you get is soft light coming from all directions above you, even shadows get so soft you almost don’t need to notice. Usually the uv index on cloudy days is higher also. It seems less fun to be out on cloudy days, yet your body gets just as much gain, and then some.
@@KennyandJoann lol. I’m trying my best to rediscover the sun, I’ve been a vampire for years and that’s not good for overall health. I was just watching the video in 4:30pm sun as I wondered if late afternoon sun is still beneficial to produce vitamin D yet less beneficial, or if 4:30pm sun is not strong enough to make ANY that late? I work with a guy who said that his doctor told him that between October and April (Northeast US) your body can’t make any vitamin D at all from the sun because it doesn’t get high enough…hmm I thought that was one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever heard.
@@joebuck7495 You’re hilarious! That doctor is actually correct. And afternoon sun is not as beneficial. This article has more details: www.healthline.com/nutrition/vitamin-d-from-sun
Taking them with your biggest meal is best, but if it's easier to remember taking them with breakfast, that is fine, too. If you happen to be taking any thyroid medicine, delay taking any minerals until at least 4 hours later with food. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
Great question! Together at your biggest meal time. Always take with food. If you take all your vitamins with your morning meal, then go ahead and take the D3 and K2 as well, so you won’t forget. We appreciate you watching!
I recently lost my molar tooth due to vitamin D deficiency. The level was 13:and doctors advised me to take a D tab of 60000 IU per week. Feeling better now although I lost a tooth as the bone beneath the molar tooth vanished due to lack of vitamin D.
Wow! So sorry to hear you lost a tooth from bone loss. And very glad you are feeling better! Vitamin D is so important! We hope you continue to improve! Thanks for sharing your story!
32 ng/mL Vitamin D level is considered low. We recommend supplementing D3/K2 and getting 10-30 minutes of unprotected midday sunlight most days. Thanks for watching!

Hey, San! It may be impossible to achieve 10,000 IU from the sun only. The optimum time of day is between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, so that two-hour window may not be enough. Plus, being fair skinned, you don't want to burn. Build up gradually from 20 minutes per day until you can tolerate more without burning. We recommend supplementing with a raw Vitamin D3 (amzn.to/3kR2K0q) with Vitamin K2 (amzn.to/3n2M6gk) to increase absorption, since it is difficult to get enough from the sun these days.
