You can break damage on FF15 with normal attacks, using the Rare Metal accessory.
(Which was added in the Royal edition 3 years ago, an award for beating Omega in Insomnia)
My very first attempt at Adamantoise took 6 hours my fastest is like 5 minutes with Rare Metal and Ragnarok.
(This accessory is standard in the PC version but requires the Royal Edition on consoles)

Fought a boss for a full seven days, non stop once.
Blaster Master on NES. I was a kid fighting the crab boss while my mom was calling me. She ended up putting me on restriction from the NES for a week because I wanted to finish the fight.
The crab boss room has a safe spot (bottom right corner, I think?). Before my mom made it down the stairs, I was able to camp in the safe spot and turn off the TV.
A week later, when my restriction was lifted, I was surprised to see that the Nintendo didn't glitch out and my dude was still camped in the boss room, unpaused in the safe spot. So that one fight technically took a full week to finish 😀
If you make a never one of these you should add infamous second son last boss battle

Darkeater Midir is awesome, once you’re able to get his moves down his fight is super fun
I think Midir killed me more than every other boss in every other soulsborne game combined... I did manage to beat him a few times, but even after I got myself 99 in every stat, and I had every possible weapon, spell, armor, ring, in the game... that MF can still slap me around. I love the challenge, and I do not underestimate that dragon.
Darkeater Midir is actually fun to fight - as long as you try to learn as you fight, and not just try the same thing over and over hoping it works.

When fighting Adamantoise in FFXV, After a few minutes of fighting it glitched and disappeared. The fight ended and I got credit for defeating it. 🤷♂️
If you use spam the ring he'll shrink and the battle will be over in less than 20 minutes

Jad and Zuk from runescape are probably some of the hardest bosses to even get to. The endless tries to actually deafeat them are absolutely brutal the first time around.

For me, it was every significant Skyrim foe on my last run, I used a mod where I can't get XP thus never leveling up, and it was NOT worth it
I did that a few years ago be It made me hate the game for a while but back to loving it one of the best games every. Peace and love
That mod sort of ruins the RPG part of the game. It should compensate with all enemies scaled to level 1.

I remember the first time I fought the tortoise in ff15.. I was already limit break on everything and I got lucky and found a spot by its foot and just held B for a literal 30 minutes to keep stabbing it with the triton staff weapon for like a 1000+ combo. And it STILL took like 1.5-2 hours to defeat
You could use the ring
Any Boss that regenerates health comes off feeling like it takes forever, even if in reality it doesn't take that much longer to take him/her down.

Regenerating bosses can really make it take a while, especially if they do full heals and don't have a gimmick that takes them down quickly/it's hard to figure out the gimmick.
Bosses that spawn minions as well can die in a burning pit

ah yes, i sadly am one of those players who is always avoiding the main quest, so i went back mainland before i had the ring and spent some hours.

Yea that was not a legit entry at all i blasted him in 35 mins wit the dual daggers. Idk why that was an entry and at number 2 at that the time is skilled and equipment based
only worked after the update. before it was very difficult
I did the same. Brought the ring and my first attacked one shotted it. I was prepared to use the dagger method but the ring did it.
I totally agree on the first one. Midir was actually fun and had an interesting move set

But with the adamantoise, they added an update where u can 1 shot him with the ring of lucii, but you have to have a tone of mp cuz you have to be lucky
Just buy alot of ether and use the reward money for ether. The fastest way to get max level is that monster ironically. Also its very cool how big the ring effect is on it.

Using the Lucian ring and teleporting back and forth between rocks to restore mana, I defeated the adamantoise in less than 15 mins. You just have to to keep up the drain constantly. You'll know it's working when the character model of the adamantoise starts looking flatter and more polygonal.

FFXII Yiazmat is by far the hardest boss I ever fought in any game. In Zodiac Age it is far easier but in the original it was mind boggling how long this fight could last.

The online one is crazy for sure. Sticking to the offline one is better for completion rate
Make sure you stock up on those explosive arrows.
The fact that it can have up to billions of hp based on dealt damage caps on its previous life is nuts, plus the variance of deaths ranging from a day to a week, and no fixed rewards makes it a nightmare.

I beat ratchet and clank going commando legit around 20 times when I was a kid because I just loved playing it💀 the reason why I got passed that boss so easily is because of the Rhyno lol
Ansem, Kingdom Hearts 1. There are like a bajillion phases and the whole fight, without dying or the ability to save or restart the ps2, took 40 minutes. You’d have to restart entirely if you died.
If you got him to ship phase it saved

Great Game even though I never tried fighting Faust
My best play through maxed at 60 with lvl 50 d spirit which took me FOREVER might I add, still took me about 20-25 minutes to beat him with dart,rose, and Albert. It’s a hard fight indeed.
Ethereals in Witcher 3 took me forever. So did Frog Prince.

That's arguably the easiest aspect of the fight. The Cube in TAG 1 gave me more hell.
FFXV Adamantoise took me a total of 5-ish hours over the span of 3 days. The only reason I didn't grind it continuously is cuz I was a student and had school. So I left my PS4 on sleep so if I came back, I wouldn't have had to restart from the beginning

I recall fighting Nevan in Devil May Cry 3 for over an hour - she just kept on killing me over and over. As far as I remember, it was already a second time I played the game, having finished it before (then again, I might be mistaken, it was in 2007) but at that time she just kept on defeating me. Man, I triumphed so much after I've beaten her! So yeah, that took me forever and it felt so daunting yet felt rewarding in the end
Adamantoise can take anywhere from 1 minute to several hours depending on how you approach the fight and how lucky you are.

That's true bit it has such a low chance that of the 4 times I beat the game, I was only able to 1 shot it in less than an hour 1 time out of 4

Its been a while, but isn't there a warp strike spot you can jump to that restores your mp in the area

I want to give an honorable mention to Yozora from KH3 Re:Mind. Actually beating him doesn't take that long, but learning how to beat him takes several hours of training.
First time I fought Adamantoise in FFXV, it made an attack that blasted me out of the area and because of that, it claimed I had disengaged from the battle and therefore reset the damn thing's HP. I think the nice 3 minutes were me just sitting there blinking and going ".... Really????"

There is actually a new boss they added in the royal edition edit of the game dlc whatever that adds a boss called”project omega”
This boss is tanky as hell,deals s massive amount of damage with inconsistent patterns,an insane amount of resistances and a lot of weird adds that make it as hard if not harder then adamantoise.
You can barely damage it with normal weapons so you gotta resort to royal arms,it has a butt ton of status affects it can deal including ones that can last as long as twenty seconds,has nearly 560,000 hp as well as insane spirit and vitality.not to mention at half its health it goes into bigger frenzy modes and adds more attacks and damage almost insta killing the entire team if screwed up.
With nearly 200 plus hours on this game it took me nearly half a DAY to beat it

MGS was one of my first game, fell inlove since.
In SMT 3 Nocturne no one ever tells you that if you want to beat the true final boss you need to have a strength build with a pierce passive, so with my magic build it was nearly impossible and it took so damn long! Not to mention, it's Nocturne, so you know it's not an easy fight.
Nobody tells you either than you want max vit stat demons with 999hp and Endure cause of Infinite Light sometimes dealing 850 dmg for absolutely no good reason even if you have max debilitate on him.
the Adamantoise took me two full hours with maxed out gears and levels, and i enjoyed it to the fullest....plus i became a legend to my little brothers friends after he told them lol

The first time I fought Adamantoise in FFXV, I got over half his health down then accidentally moved too far away and he reset. Started the fight again and eventually got him down.
I did it In 6 hours. I was lvl 55
I got mad when my brother beat him i dont know if they changed that but you could easily beat him with the ring of lucis

I've beat MGS 3 4 times and The End was always super easy and pretty quick to beat. He leaves footprints when he moves so you run around for a couple minutes and find him the first time and shoot him with the AK. Then you just keep following his footprints and keep shooting him with the AK, and done. Never understood why people say it takes so long.
Because on the first time you do, when you don't know the tricks, it does take ages.
Also, and AK? Bruh, what you doing? Gotta be using those tranq/stun weapons to get that juicy camo
@@connortheandroidsentbycybe7740 you cant get the camo from using tranqs on the end, gotta sneak behind him point your gun so he gives it to you. Tranqs gives you the mosen nagant. Really love that game and have beaten it so many times already.
Everquest 1 - The Sleeper. Hundreds of man hours went into defeating this boss. 10-15 minutes of content for sure.

After watching the last video where you mentioned Absolute Virtue, I was thinking, "But what about Pandemonium Warden?" And here we are lol
Bayonetta made me feel burn out, I much more prefered Smaller boss fights, rather than that big bosses, which are like 75% of boss fights. They are firstly, not too hard, and take way too long to finish.

He wasnt that hard first try maybe but once u do a second run on him hes really easy ive now spent about 300 hours into it
He's not that hard, but he has more HP than any of the other bosses by a long shot it does take a while.
I loved fighting the Ur Dragon from Dragons Dogma. I was even lucky to take it down once. And to add that it was during Summer break and I was on vacation from work :)

I remember the final boss of Grandia 3 having a ton of hp, even with the special move that lets u stop time and wail on him at the start of the fight. Can't remember exactly how long it took but goddamn, it felt like forever...

took me ages to get through the 'final boss' area in persona 5, had barely any healing items on me and just kept running out before even getting to the main boss
King Vendrick in DkS2 felt like an eternity to finish.
Even though all you do is walk circles around him.
And if you don't do that collection thing before facing him, it'll take even longer.
That's messed up what the devs of EQ did. Just dirty.
You can crush Master Gee with the door.
But yeah, otherwise it's a tedious fight.
I beat #2 fairly recently and I think the fight was about 40-45 minutes and I was only able to use the lil fairy demon summon even though I had titan and ramah. If you've played ffxv you know summons have weird triggers.

The Dark Lord is just a glorified marauder who also heals himself, Samur is much harder.
Apparently, regarding Master Gee the Invincible, there's a "glitch" you can use to just crush him under the entrance to the area. You stand directly under the gate to the area and use longbow singularity grenades to teleport him to you slowly (don't hit him with them, and you need about 8-10 grenades). Once he's right in front of the gate, you run out and very quickly punch him, throw a longbow directly under the gate, and he'll spawn under it as it's closing and be crushed. There's apparently a chance of some loot falling under the map, but oh well, eh? Ez x)
My first playthrough of Legend of Dragoon the multi-phase final boss battle against Melbu Frahma took forever... feel like that one deserves at least a mention in memory of my adolescent grinding lol.
Well, there's Valakas, from Lineage 2. That takes tons of people and hours to beat.
First time I fought the adamantoise in FFXV, took me over an hour. Then after that first big update, spammed mp items, used the ring of lucii to zap him into another dimension within about 45 seconds

my personal one was the Volt Beast from Grandia Xtreme. took around 2 and half HOURS to beat this thing. the main reason was it has two modes, one where its immune to physical attacks and the other where its immune to magic attacks (this include any elemental attacks). and it can switch between them at will, so you have qued up one type of attack, but his move comes up first so he would switch before you actually attacked. This meant you only did like 0-1 damage, maybe 2 if you were lucky. plus i don't spend long hours grinding unless i have to so i was about at the average level you would be just fighting monsters normally.
and considering it just a mid game boss, that was insane. the toughest boss in the game is a bonus boss at the bottom of a massive dungeon that unlocks after you beat the game, who is at level 200. he takes awhile and is hard, but not nearly as long of a fight as that one.
I just used the ring of the lucii to one shot adamantoise.
Btw eating the lasagna and then farming adamantoise with the ring is an amazing way to farm xp and Gil. You can sell the loot from the boss for 50,000 Gil each time you beat him. Came in handy when I started doing those vault dungeons
You can also get the Rare Metal from Omega and break normal damage (despite what the video says....it's a 3 year old accessory, so they should've known better)
With Rare Metal and Enhancement you can pretty much hit 30k-99,999 depending on the weapon, the fight becomes hilariously trivial.
I hate that ancient dragon isn't even a hard boss. It's just really bulky and if you mess up you more than likely die.
If there is any enemy in Borderlands that spreads definitive FEAR across the lands... it's Anathema the Relentless or Scourge the Invincible Martyr (Guardian Breach).
For part 3 you should include the dungeon guardian from terraria, It takes maybe 20 minutes at it's fastest but it one shots you because it's not intended to be fought but you do get a useless reward from it
some guy beat Ornstein and Smough from Dark Souls 1 only by rolling with the kirk thorn armor in NG+ and it took around 40 minutes not including failed attempts.
My longest fight was against the Minotaurus from ac:odyssey, it was at least 30 mins and while it wasn't really that hard the space you can move in is really small and it's charge attack could almost one shot me. It felt really satisfying to finally beat it

Now you can upload longest levels, I could never reach the end of dmc 3's bloody palace.

The last boss in Legend of Dragoon. One of my playthroughs I fought him at lvl 38 and it took me an hour to beat 😂

@@wteverisgud I would do regrettable things for a remaster of LoD. It was the best rpg by far of its time and for many years later and still to this day is my favorite game of all time. I still get goosebumps at the ending cutscene.
In Persona 5 Royal both Yaldabaoth and Maruki took at least an hour, but out of those two, Marukis boss fight took so dang long. Part of why it at least felt like it took so long is because the music they play is honestly super calming, and made me almost fall asleep multiple times, but he still took hardly any damage which you couldn't even infict until you git rid of all of his little tentacle shields and healing things. I had almost defeated his first form after probably 2 hours and then failed. A redeeming factor is that his last form if I remember correctly wasn't actually that difficult.
The thing about the Thugs 4 Less leader is he's not meant to be fought normally. They did a good job of conveying that since I got the message right away. It scared me, so I jetted away and saw the jump pads. Doing it the intended way maybe takes 2-3 minutes. I think felt engaging enough since I had to stay on the move and felt this huge beast of a machine chasing me at all times. It only became boring after I got used to it and could do it super fast with full understanding and no worries.

@@BenInstaLITGames Like I said, he isn't hard in the game. But you are fighting on top of a nuclear reactor. Through out the fight, he destroys parts of it. It is so easy to fall off. And if you fall off, you die.

The Ceadeus final battle from MH3U and the Dalamadur final battle from MH4U were a pain in the ass
There's a 'cursed house' in okami that has you fight 10 waves of increasingly hard enemies, then makes you do it 10 times. At the end you get a stray bead, which is usually the last one.
My last stray bead for Okami is the giant wall guy who takes several hits in the pattern he shows you because I inevitably mess up the order or lose the place where I needed to hit it.

The first time I found the end boss on the Legendary version of the District Union Arena stronghold on The Division 2 felt like it took forever, not because it is hard though. He has way to much armor that regenerates and when you break that you can only harm him with headshots with a tiny hit window. At least how I feel about it.

Longest boss fight I had was the final boss on Star Ocean till the end of time. Not because it was hard, but because I was not doing peak damage.

The lichen? event boss from monster hunter world. You go through an entire story as geralt find the stupid hard boss that you can easily lose to or have time run out. If you win, you unlock the even harder version of tge lichen that a four hunter team can have a lot of trouble with
