This is great! I'm planning on making something similar at some point but thinking instead of boarding horizontally through the plastic I'm thinking about layering the material which is how it looks like airweights did theirs.
I have designed other printable pads in different sizes, and I will share them with you soon. Lol I will need to ask my Son for some help as I don't know how to do it.

You know you have a big CNC when your VFD is on the machine itself xD. Love it!
EXCELLENT explanation and quality video. Thanks. Can you share the models for your manifold and fittings ?
Great video, Thanks for sharing your experiences. I used HDPE for mine, it does flex a little but securing it to the table fixes that problem.
Thanks.
Great video, I think you said this was a trial one. I would love to see your final vacuum bed if you decide to build it.
I did say that, but I haven't had time to make another one yet. But this one works just great so far.
Top effort Bakkie. Really nice vid & great piece of kit. Double thumbs up.
Well done!
Excellent video!
Thank you so much.
Great job! What is the CFM of the vacuum pump you are using?
I am using an 8 cfm vacuum pump, and it works just great.
Great video! Thank you! Do you have a link to the printable ones that you 3d printed first? I think I would like to experiment with those

Hi Tony.
What kind of vacuum pump do you have?
Do you have any rekommendations regarding types or models?
Hi there. I'm using a double-stage 8CFM vacuum pump. They actually use them for refrigeration and it works just fine.
