So glad you both enjoyed this beautiful track by Wishbone Ash. It is a folk tale based on the life of Kitty Jay from Devon England . Her grave lies at a crossroads on an ancient road. Even today flowers still appear on her grave . You will also love their " Error of my Ways " from their debut album Wishbone Ash. Beautiful guitars , interwoven with great harmonies . Enjoy the ride.
Hi Peeps ! Thanks for Giving this Top Band another bash , they are Brilliant . This is a Folk song . Prince Town is a small town on Dartmoor Devon that has a notorious Prison built to house prisoners from the Napolionic war ! It is still in use today ! Thanks again !
I lived in Princetown from 1973 to 1983. It is an eyrie place. The only crossroad on an ancient road I know of is Nuns Cross. Nuns Cross is about a mile east of the village. Nuns Cross 50°30'42.07"N 3°58'3.56"W
This is one of Wishbone's best albums. Every track has that clean English guitar tone and Martin Turner's bass guitar & vocals were such an integral part of their melodic sound.
Very good song! Good players and writers in Wishbone Ash. Chris and Cynthia, I was taking a look at two Dynamic Hepnotic videos and noticed that one song is only two minutes and 37 seconds, which is pretty short. Could we have a back-to-back for two Dynamic Hepnotics songs? They're good enough tunes and have been reqeusted when you did ''Soul Kind Of Feeling''. No rush.. Dynamic Hepnotics - It's Ain't Right (Audio + Video merge 2024)
As soon as I saw the thumbnail, i thought it's him " Graham" ,, so okay not bad , well actually there better than not bad, in fact this track is quite good, the musitionship is exemplary 🏴✌️
@@jaymacgee_A_Bawbag_Bletheringwow Jay that's going to be a long hard journey if you succeed i don't want to know how you did it I'm happy in my shallow little closed minded musical self 😅
It has the feel of an English folk song, and I think I would have liked it better of it had been done that way. I think I would have liked Wishbone Ash if I'd heard them fifty years ago, but I've heard too much music since then to care about this now.
Sorry Sir G , this is the 4th awful track this morning , it’s not the worst of the 4 , but it’s still awful in the worst sense of the word .. 🤦♂️ I’m away to pick lint out of my bellybutton which I’m positive will be more enjoyable and satisfying …😳 👍🏴
@@colrhodes377 Kia Ora hello my friends how are you two doing? On Friday my oldest son Strummer got to get a hot lap with the Aotearoa new zealand rally champion in his championship car up and down the roads in a quarry with massive drops off the sides he's a car racing nut job and I've never seen him so fizzing with happiness. His two mates saw the drops off the sides of the quarry and said we're all good you go for it Strummer. And yesterday he got to be a marshall at the Dargaville stage of the rally of Aotearoa new zealand. A lifetime memory for my Mate. If only i could get him to shut up about it 😜. Get on your simulator and i race SHUT UP ABOUT THE RIDE!!!. I'LL admit I'm more than a little bit jealous
That old green monster JEALOUSY. Every time there's a chance of jumping into a race car I've missed out RAIN /TIME beat's me oh well one day maybe although I'm not sure if my back would be able to handle a rally car it would probably end in tears 😔
@heathcornbeef I have a Sunbeam Stiletto, which I rebuilt to use in hill climbing events. I nearly killed myself the first time out because I misjudged the turn. I thought that I'd be a winner right from the off. How deluded I was!

yay ! Agree
They compose the most melodic guitar passages and also seem to squeeze that medieval sound in there from the Argus album... what a treat:)
This could easily be on the Argus album. Classic Wishbone!

Absolutely right.
Excellent choice, Graham!

@ghichens3418 Her sling should come off tomorrow. Then, it's masses of physio. The cage will remain for the foreseeable, though.
@@colrhodes377 Okay Col , give her our blessings and wellness ! cheers !

The whole album is fantastic. Their sound changed when Laurie Wisefield joined and this album shows his influence.
Their masterpiece remains the album Argus!
I know, why wouldn't they start there? Makes no sense.
