🙋♀️Hello Russ! What a beautiful day this was! How nice it was to say hello to Kurt, Kindra, Leo & his Wife, before getting back on the road. What a beautiful sign Wyoming has! Even the flattest of land holds a beauty all of its own! Enjoy some time off Russ, get some much needed rest, get caught up. May you have a day as wonderful as you!👍
Another compilation of great videos, Russ. Excellent job! Your cameras are so clear and we can see a very wide view of that gorgeous country! Thanks for the ride along! ❤️❤️❤️
Great video. I love that part of the country. There's a nice KOA in Sheridan if your looking. Just north of Sheridan take the exit for the scenic byway over the Big Horn mountains. You will not regret it. It's spectacular!! Thanks for yet another cool video. Safe travels!
"Adios Muchachos" What a swell send off from your friends! You probably heard that Glenwood Canyon along Interstate 70 in western Colorado is on fire. You just went through there a few weeks ago. Really sad. Fires here in Arizona closing HWY 87 North of Fountain Hills. We're burnin' up! Record days above 110! Crazy stuff! So glad we can tune into RVerTV and get away from it all, he he. Be Safe, See You Soon!
Kurt really is a great character! I too like the architecture of those small towns, Spearfish looks like a great place. Can't wait to see what Wyoming is like, thanks Russ.
The Chief Joseph Highway through Cooke City and Silver Gate into Yellowstone. Or hang a right and take the Beartooth Highway and drop down into Red Lodge.
Hey Russ, great video. You got me wanting to move up there and live. But I don't think I could take the snow and winters LOL. Stay safe and keep the cool videos coming!👍😃
Lived there and loooved the place. Winter meant six to twelve inches of snow, but South Dakota knows them some snow plows via road graders. Seriously, they use road graders to clear the streets.
Recommend making Thermopolis and the worlds largest hot springs, Cody, Meeteetsee, Oregon Basin, Powell, and Worland. Lots of small towns (Tensleep). I grew up in Wyoming. and love the Big Horn Basin! Leave toward Yellowstone over the Bear Tooth Highway. Awesome.
part of my memories were of my dad fueling the car up at .14 cents a gallon I remember the smell unlike today , Today it smells like a drunk in the tank
Oh my gosh that brings back memories. In 1949 my mother gave my eldest sister 25-cents for 1-quart milk + 1-pint cream with change back! My sister would take us with her when she went with our kid's wagon to buy 2 blocks of ice for our ice box. Don't remember the smell of gasoline because my father couldn't afford a car. Remember the breadman though because I liked his horse that pulled his wagon. His horse didn't like me, grabbed me by my tunic + shook me. Sigh. But the milkman's horse liked me. I think it was in 1951 that the city banned horse-drawn vehicles from the streets.
I enjoy your videos (all) I have read about De Smet, South Dakota, but have never been to S.D. But did like seeing & hearing about the small towns, that you took us to, in S.D., on the 2020, virtual vacation. Thank you again.
I have a Splinter like yours . My horn is weak too . Thinking about putting on my oo-ga horn . Had fun with it out in the countryside honking at all the ole farmers !
we get overwhelmed by tourists in the Summer in CO, I wonder how locals like 100k of tourists swarming all over the country in the Sturgis area??? Please ride safe, wear a helmet, and give semi;s a wide berth
Goodmorning Russ, I enjoyed my first cup of coffee this morning riding shotgun with you. That was a nice stay at Sturges and fun seeing the news sites for me of that area. Yes, now more than ever I will have to do this drive. Maybe next spring. Hey, I have been retired for a bit over 12 years now and used to hit far to many fast food joints for over 30 years because I was always on the road and had little time for anything else, I share your name for Mcburgers and I have not had any food from them in about 13 years now. I say this in that I learned they did a big make over and seems the don't freeze the meat patties any longer going for the more fresh approach. Also I hardly ever had shakes or cones because they had corn syrup instead of sugar. They apparently change that now. Looking at the article I would gather that most of the menu has had a refresh towards healthier foods and I have wondered if the food now tastes better. Still not a fan any longer of a quick meal, but if another subscriber can share what Mickie D's is like now that remembers the old food I would like to hear about it. 🤪👍👀
Now you know Russ, Yuck Donald's makes the best fresh coffee. You should have stopped at the devils 😈 tower. It's actually a mid fossil of a Titans ankle, stuck in the midst of the great flood.
Hey Russ really fun to follow your RVer TV Virtual Vacation, well done!! Love Sheridan, check out King Ropes, best In the world. Mint bar downtown and Last Chance bar in little town of Big Horn, both historic and great burgers! Battle of the Big Horn Custer’s Last Stand is pretty kewl!! Keep it rolling...
Wow been 49 years since i have been to Spearfish. Was. Stationed up at Minot AFB at the time and my friend was from there. Hey can you go by Devels Tower? Please! Russ these are fun Videos.
I follow the route you take on maps. I find it interesting that for the first 40 years of my life I lived off Rte 14 and I90 in N Illinois. Today I'm in WI, but remember the Mickey D's where I worked in high school on Rte 14, as well as the Dodge dealer, who had a new '65 Hemi Coronet parked in front of his dealership. Now you are out there on 14 and I90. Hope your trip brings back more memories for you.
Russ in order to fly my drone on WiFi do I need A phone plan . Right now I only use my smart phone at home on WiFi because I have no paid plan . I guess I can only fly with WiFi from my own backyard or some other place where I can use their network. I’m sorry I’m so new at this I have so many simple questions. I just purchased a MJX Bugs5W won’t get it tillOctober. Coming from China. . If I could afford a better one could probably het it sooner.
Mercedes must have put the car horn on your van. I agree with you it sounds weak. I'd call it pitiful sounding. Holding a squealing pig out the window would be louder...Haha.
It was a good rally at sturgis except for the dummass lady who had an encounter with the buffalo. Nice series Russ. I appreciate it. Havagudun and stay safe.
Russ your appreciation for back roads, old architecture and “small towns USA” makes these videos even more interesting. Thanks!
I love the open spaces there.
On the road with Russ first thing in the morning. Great way to start the day! Thanks Russ....
Thanks for the tour of Spearfish. We love that place!!
Stop in Spearfish next time , watched your video to see downtown😫

I saw the Statue Of Liberty on one of the street corners of Spearfish. She was holding up a light sphere.
It's a tax preparers place.

lol! Yukdonalds!! Nice riding along with you! Glad your staying safe...
Thanks Russ! Stay Safe!!

Record heat in Arizona. 39 days above 110 degrees today.
Durn - 110 degrees - Hot / Hot. Find Shade, drink lemonade / ice tea / stay cool.
@14:53 It's just not an "Rver TV" video unless Russ points out a grain silo :)

This has got a real feeling of a road trip about it!
I'm happy to see you are going to be visiting Wyoming.

Moderate Intensity
I thought the geographical centre of the USA was near Lebanon Kansas.
What would you say is the prettiest part of SD and WY?
