Damn! At the song John Bonham drum's sound absolut exciting but this isolated version is stunning. For me the best drummer ever, I really sorry he is gone so suddenly. Thanks for share it.
The way he lets them breathe has always astounded me. He treated the kit like it was a living organism. I guess now that I think about it, the kit was just an inanimate object until he brought them to life. So….i guess you could say he was god of drums! 😊
@@BONHAMOLOGY Thanks for the reply! I was wondering why the snare rolls sounded like THICK flams (in the "as we wind on down the road" part), I thought it had to have been double tracked
@@BONHAMOLOGY nope, that is definitely double tracked, you can tell because of the varying rhythmic gaps between the two tracks and the slightly different tone of each track

Some studio magic definitely going on here. guys are saying doubling but it's being off set by a couple of milliseconds in parts, you can definitely hear it. Sounds great though no doubt.
Never bothered searching for it cuz thot it didn't exist.....happy/sad I found it. Happy cuz it's so f'n impressive to actually hear just how damn good it is but sad cuz I've been playing alot of it wrong for years!! But I'm no Bonham so that's ok....just fun to play it!! Thnx!👍
@@jamesmarshall8408 Good stuff! I am a drummer and use Moises to remove the drums once I know the song and play along. Sometimes my guitarist and I will use it to keep the bass & vocals and we can jam alone with the music! These apps are sick!
Bonham doubled his drums, didn't he. But the two tracks didn't line up perfectly. So there's this shimmy on the HH, with extra swung notes he never played, during the ending "As we wind on down the road...", and middle verses, that confused me as a drummer in 1981, just starting out, right up until now. Jimmy Page and his sonic experiments.
the "extra hi hats" you are talking about are his ghost notes on the snare. a lightly played ghost note on the snare can sound like a hi hat, especially through reverb. this is a drum track isolated by AI so some of the frequencies from other instruments can make their way into the isolations which can sound more complicated
This is him, but it's isolated using an app which alters frequencies in order to bring certain instruments out. There are many of these apps available now. The end results sounds strange compared to the original
This is not Bonham’s track. I know the part like that the back of my hand and there are little nuances and fills that just aren’t like the record. Sorry folks but this isn’t him.
Sounds like a software app able to pull the drums and isolate and then ruin them also , or maybe you just have the original recording with your 1000 subscribers

Double tracking drums without a click track... Legends
Don't need to click track when you have a built-in metronome.
How do you know it's double tracked? Is it because of the thick sound? I thought that might just be a echo effect or something.
This is not double tracked... This method of isolation causes artifacts, which makes it sound like there is a doubling effect.
