StahbucksLovah you are the giveaway winner for this Happy Planner and markers! Please email me at sarra@heartbreathings.com to let me know which notebook you want and your mailing address. Congrats!
Sarra, I just want to thank you so much for all you do. I am turning 50 this year and was feeling like doors were closing - especially for writing. And then in January I started reading Super Attractor and found you on the same day - talk about a sign! A woman who used to be an elementary school teacher and loves using Tarot for guidance! I taught ES for about 28 years and I’m now a therapist in a PK-8 school as well as in a mood disorder clinic. I have been so blessed to be able to help people. I always had “write a book” in my bucket list. You have given me both the courage and the tools to start. I heard you talk yesterday about how you avoid comments sometimes because of the hurtful ones - please always remember the good you put out in the world and how many of us are so grateful for you and your bravery.
Thanks, Sarra! I just bought 6 new notebooks at World Market, and I'm excited to find ways to use them! I think I'll use your manifesting idea about starting my family soon, within the next year and a half or so. I'm pretty excited!
For the Hobonichi 5-year notebook, I'm using roughly the top quarter of the right-hand page to record what books I read that day across the five years, the second quarter for what crafts I worked on, and the bottom half is overflow in case I want to write more on one of the days.
28:00 You can refresh the worn edges of your pink HP cover by touching up the nicks with some permanent, pink marker. It doesn't fill in the nicks, but just adding the color back makes it sooo much nicer. 💜🌞🌵
Since following your notebook challenge over a year ago, I have completed one full notebook, and have been working on finishing 3 others. I love your hobo 5 years. I am doing something similar, but it is 5 years of a question a day. I am about 2 and a half years into it and it is one of the best things I have done
LOVE these notebook and pen challenges, Sarra! I have finished - yes, FINISHED - TWO pens since the beginning of the year, and it felt so good. Things to put on the extra Hobonichi 5-year pages: Quote of the day - something one of your kids did/said - a love note to your hubby/son/daughter every day telling them something sweet or what you appreciate about them (you could alternate) - if you listen to music, the song that stood out for that day or was the theme song of the day - an affirmation to close the day, like 'It's been a good day' (and even if it was a rough day, something like 'I am proud to have made it through this day.') - colour of the day - how you saw love today, or a sign of being loved - something new you learned today (always fun, even if you have to open Wikipedia's random page to find something!) - the one thing you did today to honour your word of the year, even if it was small. 💜
Hi Sarra, my notebook challenge has changed over the month as we've had some serious life issues come into play. instead of turning to my notebooks for comfort and connection, I usually just stop and address the issues. i always forget how much strength, comfort and growth I get when i put pen to paper and allow my thoughts and feeling to flow freely. I do the opposite of what I need. As i recreate my vision board for 2020, this will be represented in a big way. thanks for sharing all you ideas and lessons.
I've recently discovered your TH-cam channel and your Facebook page. I've really enjoyed watching and learning from your videos. I'm 50 years old. I'm also an indie author. I journal all the time and have found your monthly notebook challenges inspirational. Thank you for sharing.
Another inspiring notebook challenge. Happy Planner has become my goto notebook, I just love how you can customize it, and I'm starting to make my own inserts and covers. The dot pens have been sitting in my wish-list on amazon for about a month now, they look fun to use. I recently saw TH-cam video of someone drawing with them which gave me some doodle ideas. Thanks for keeping the inspiration flowing.
For the extra pages on the five year notebook, you can write the card you drew for that day! It might be cool to see how the same day compares over five years in terms of tarot readings.
I love these notebook challenge videos, Sarra. I've added a little gratitude journal this month. It's not dated, so I can just write in it on the days I have a moment. I thought it would be helpful to leave it in my bed... but my little hound thought it was for him! I still love it - only one top corner is mangled.
I really love how organized you are! Even if you say you're not an artist you have an artist's eye for how you decorate your pages. You're really making me want to invest in more stickers.
I just bought a happy notes and a happy planner. Our local Joann's had it on clearance, and I got both for less than $20. I am now super excited to put together my plotting/editing notebook! You have revived my childhood love of stationery. I'm not sure my budget is happy about this, but it brings a whole lot of joy! :)
My notebook challenge for March is to journal more. I find that when I get writer's block it's when I'm frustrated or can't think clearly. This didn't happen often until I stopped journaling to center myself and regain my clarity. Hopefully this can help me move forward on some unfinished works. Thank you for another great video!
I've been doing real well with the challenge. This month's a tad different with that I'm adding another notebook; hadn't figured out which one yet but I already figured out what I'll be using it for.
The extra space in the HObinichi are overflow pages, in case you need to write more than the allocated space. But you could use it for other things like, the song that was stuck in your head that day, a mood tracker (how cool to see that over the years?), your tarot readings, your childrens' milestones, anything else you'd like to track or keep a record of over the years that you want to stand out a bit more than putting it in the daily slot.
Hi Sarra, I enjoy watching your videos so much. I also use a few different notebooks for different purposes and decorate them very colorful with vision boards, washi tapes etc. I always get a lot of inspiration from you!!! And I also strongly believe in visualising. Just keep doing and I'm sure your TV-deal waits around the corner for you!!!
Hello Sarra....really enjoyed this video. You are very organized. I have a scripture journal in which I write my feelings about what I just read and how it effects my life. I like the 5 year journal...although I think I would start with 3 years...easier to swallow!!! I think I would pick the Live Colorfully notebook. I am all about colors. I also have a journal where I keep my calendar, monthly and weekly, appts and anything else on my plate. Thanks for listening and sharing your talents with me.
Love your March notebooks! My notebooks this month: a composition book in a Webster’s Pages cover and two Happy Planner notebooks (one has the HB90 planner inside); I’m still trying to figure out the right balance of what I want to keep on paper vs digital - this monthly challenge always helps! :)
Live Colorfully...You are flipping amazing! You are a writer, documenter/journaler, gamer, new mommy, have so many goals and aspirations and creative endeavours and get it all written down while at the same time living it all. I struggle to get a couple minor things done like getting dressed on the weekends and one or two things after work with a glass of wine (okay that might slow me down somewhat here and there but ya know lol). I get so many ideas from you and implement what I can or tweak so be more personal for me. Thanks for the inspiration!
I totally freaked-out-fangirled when you flip your TV manifestation notebook and got a glimpse of the back cover. I just finished the third book of Shadow Demons and I'm hooked! I'm ready to speed read the rest of the series to be ready for your upcoming new releases! Good luck with your writing. Can't wait for the TV show ;)
Love the collection of your notebook .. I made mine for writing .. I have 5 POVs for the new book and your printable is really helpful .. I also add maps, different places, and drawings to my notebook .. Thank you for your hardwork
I have a gaming notebook too thought mine is field notes sized since I take it on the go with me with my Nintendo switch lite. It's sort useful for long games with lots of details. If you have a switch I highly recommend Moonlighter!
Fantastic! I would love the Life is Lovely planner. I live in BC, Canada. Growing up, my sister had the pink room, pink stuff, and I had blue room, blue stuff. Now I'd love a pink book! just for me! And I'm happy that you're getting therapy. Depression has been my long life struggle and during 2 abusive marriages. I can't wait to publish my first book, Tears of Blood. Your daughter is beautiful. I remember those days when mine were babies. I loved them.
My notebook challenge is going great! I haven't finished one, but I've stayed consistent with using my planners and notebooks, so hopefully by May, I can splurge and buy a new, high end notebook as my birthday gift, to myself.
I am always inspired by your videos. Don't be shy about speaking your dream into life. Get that TV show and movie deal! My personal notebook challenge is slow but consistent. Your monthly videos help. They act as check-in/motivation.
Thank you for helping me indulge my forever love of stationary!! I've gotten away from paper planners since my kiddos came along, but I miss it and want to get back to it! 💕 Thank you for all your videos!!!
For blank page ideas: On the left side of my daily journal, I write down the things that I did that day. It's pretty boring stuff, but it helps me in the long run because I am NOTORIOUS for losing things. I was able to go back to the right side of my page and write down places that I went to in a list and eventually I found the thing I was looking for. Memory Routines have also really helped in conversational instances; they have also really beneficial if I'm given advice that day, I can keep it there in the back burner or just cross it out if it doesn't work. I also keep the right side blank in case I want to go back and annotate my journal to show even further progress (how I think then vs. how I think now), or if I just have something I really need to process an event that had just happened.
Thank you for making this video. I too am seeking ways to use all of my beautiful journals. I keep a reading log for whatever I'm reading. I keep ingratitude journal, a basic free writing journal and art journal and a few planners to boot. I am also using what I have and watching your videos inspire me to use my books to harness my creativity. Thank you for this, your books are Beautiful.
Thanks for another great month! I would love more detail on manifest journaling, and I too have a black out notebook, so please share how you use it and I need to get some of the moonlight Gelly roll pens too! Those Hello Kitty crystals, they make me happy seeing them in the video. And I had no idea about how the five year worked, but love it, may have to get one for myself and my parents, what a treasured memory that could become. Happy March!
I am obsessed with planners, notebooks, & plot organising thanks to you, your like my Spirit Animal! I love your videos & hope to join your bootcamps plus Publish & Thrive classes in the future. I have a beautiful dream home with my husband/soulmate that I wholeheartedly attribute to manifesting. The power of our hearts, minds, & emotions can take us to wonderful times.
I haven't finished a notebook yet. But I have finished one pen. A black Papermate Ink Joy gel pen. I love these pens so much. I'm currently using a blue one in my Happy Planner and a green one in my journal.
Thanks to you I bought the Happy Planner Stargazer plus all the sticker packs, and I'm hitting my writing targets. Thank you! I love your witchy journals.
YES to more beach days! We were in Corpus Christi last weekend to check out the Texas Aquarium before I had to drop my husband off at the airport and it was sunny but only in the low 70s and windy. I'm missing my mid 80s to low 90s! :D
The difference between the pages in those notebooks is amazing, definetly a better deal now. Yes! Manifest that deal to life! I would love to see a series as I know movies eliminate soooo much of a story (as my kids are discovering while I read Harry Potter to them), but hey anything would be amazing ♡♡♡ Maybe use that page in the 5th year to see how different or similar your day/life was at that point. Reflect about the growth, the ups and downs that happened a year from one another. Love the idea to use one as a Grimoire ♡
I love all your notebooks and how u use them. I’ also have a daily spiritual journal and I love getting new inspirations from your channel on how to use more and write more. 😍
Love the dot pens! I've never seen any like that before. I finished a journal last month so finally gave myself permission to buy a new one as well as a new sketchbook. So excited to get into them :)
Love your planners ❤️ I love the one with the little girls on it. I must admit I struggle as a writer to use these. I really need a place to organize the writing world I created. I think you have done some videos on this? Would love it o see an in-depth one. Thanks for doing all this!!
Speaking of dreams. I had a dream a few nights ago that you were travelling around the world doing book tours & that your mentorship extended to your own small company of writers. I'm fairly sure that was the universe prompting some of my subconscious desires as a writer. But I remember waking up & being really happy for you & inspired and refreshed in a new way. I'm excited to see your dreams come manifest. You deserve it.
You have definitely inspired me to add a ton of stuff to my online cart lately. Most of them covers for notebooks though, not notebooks themselves luckily. You’ve also inspired me to jump back into writing. Something I haven’t done much of since Nanowrimo last year. Loved the video
I love your videos! And I really enjoy these notebook challenge videos. I have a ton of notebooks I need to use before I can allow myself to buy more. I recently got a hourly Erin condren but I didn’t like the layout but I absolutely love love love the feel of the paper. I hadn’t thought about time tracking. Thanks for the idea! I would prefer the lined notebooks mainly because I like to keep my handwriting organized and that is next to impossible with no lines. A tv series or movie deal would awesome. I love your books! And those happy notes are great!
I love that you have had such a distinct and immediate response to your inquiry. Your videos are always a great inspiration. I’ve been using my planner and notebooks and have clear plans each week. It has helped me focus with what needs doing. I’ve also been able to see what needs to be adjusted. Thanks for all you do. (Though now I want those dot pens dang it!) 😉
My notebook challenge has gone so well that I actually need more-LOL! So, I'm entering this month. Thank you for how you always encourage us to be productive and find our own path to work and be creative. :)
For the 5 year, I use a different color pen each year and continue writing onto the other page if I want to. But it's just the same type of journaling, whatever comes to mind, what happened that day.
Hi from Nova Scotia. You have inspired me to use my books and journals. I’m doing so much more journaling now and yes, it’s very therapeutic. Thank you so much.
I quite enjoy watching your videos. I'm not doing so well with my notebooks but my planners are going well. I love the happy planner happy notes. One day I will try the EC notebooks. Spirals are just not left handed friendly.
I'm working hard to use up the countless number of notebooks I have. Actually just finished one not too long ago, which I'm very happy for. As for the planners, they're all so cute, though I think I'd go with the live colorfully as it kind of matches my planner. Also, I'm finally getting around to using this Hello Kitty pen I bought about a year ago. 😁💜
Woohoo! It's March, so it's time for another Notebook Challenge video. how is your notebook challenge going so far in 2020? Don't forget to comment below and subscribe to enter to win this month's giveaway!
I subscribed last month, so I did make it a point to LIKE todays video, and I am commenting to enter the giveaway...If I win I would like to have the SQUAD GOALS notebook. I absolutely LOVE that pink paper! And the tracker pens are EVERYTHING! It seems so much easier just having an actual DOT to track with, because when I do my color coding whether I use circles or squares it drives me crazy trying to get them perfect! I am really really enjoying your notebook/pen challenges. I have been into notebooks and wonderful pens for a few years now and so I have collected sooooo many journals that I need to use! Thanks for helping us all do this! *Best wishes to you and your little one, she is too adorable! Looking forward to your next video!
I bought a discounted Teacher Happy Planner and am planning on repurposing it into a School Psychologist planner! We have to plan SO many things in our days, but there aren't any good options out there for us. My plan is to test out a few pages with students this month and set it up to use next year for all of my cases! I love that "Live Colorfully" notebook and need those dot pens! I've never used dot grid paper, but I've heard so many people that love them.
I subscribed a while ago, and I'm commenting here to enter this month's giveaway. You have definitely reignited my love of all things stationery/planners! :)
I love your notebook challenges. I also appreciate that your spiritual journeyincludes tarot. I am getting ready to read some of your work in April. Blessed be...
I love those pens! I try to use dot Stickers and have a terrible time because of my arthritis in my hands those would help me a lot lol. I am so happy whenever I see a video of yours pop up and I’d love to see a set up video on your other page for the witchy journal! Thanks for being such an inspiration!
I have yet to fill up a notebook this year! For the five year notebook you could use the extra page for a five year review of that day. Like what do the days have in common or was there a theme that you noticed for that day. Love your videos!!!!!
Thanks for the continued inspiration! It makes me want to find ways to use all my cute notebooks. And I absolutely love your plotting notebook. I am incorporating this for my newest writing project. :)
Wishing you all the luck with the movie/tv deal! For the 5 yr journal, maybe you can use the page on the right of each day for quotes that inspire you? Or you can record tv, films, music etc that are currently your jam for each day so you can sort of create a time capsule of entertainment alongside the memories? (For the journal, I would love the Squad Goals one!)
Those crystals are fantastic! I’d never considered that there would be some clever makers out there who carve them, but now I know what I’m going to get my bestie (and myself) for her birthday. As for the notebooks, I’d love to win the colourful one. And the zig dot markers - I’ve been considering a purchase of those for myself, so to win a set would be fantastic.
I’ve been using a “personal size” binder for my planner stuff. I decorated the front cover, which is a transparent pouch-page, with cherry blossom stickers. I really like this cover. With a piece of white paper under it, it is white and pink with a bit of gold. For the five-year journal thing, you could put inspirational quotes, or maybe you could pick one day out of those five on a page and expand on it on the right side?
You are a very generous person and an inspiration for all of us. Keep working like that. I really wish you to get the movie/tv deal and everything you wish!
I actually really like the idea of having a gaming notebook. I used to keep one when I was younger for FFVII to keep track of all the Materia I needed to collect and master. But I fell out of the habit. I'm going to pick that up again. Also, my partner and I have been thinking about playing FFXIV in May so I think I'm going to start a notebook for that game as well. Thank you for the inspiration to pick back up a gaming notebook. I'm looking forward to doing that again. :) On another note, I would LOVE to watch another witchy journal setup. You always have a very nice way of making your notebooks look cute so I'd like to see more of it!
I have trouble with crystal names at times too. Labradorite is one of my favourites I pronounce it: Labrador (like the dog breed) ite. I've seen people explain it as Lab-ruh-door-ite but I think it's more simple to just think of the dog. It's from Labrador in Canada I believe which is where it gets its name. :)
Wow, another international giveaway! Thank you so much!! Love your gaming notebook! I am not a gamer, but I use notebooks for my hobbies and my family has always teased me for "making work" by creating and using all my notebooks!
I spend the money on the ARC punch last year, and I love using my disc binders so much! For plotting and my novel stuff as well as for other things. I love that you can fold it back completely, I travel a lot and it's so practical! I would love to have the thirs of the three planners, if I have the luck to be picked. ^_^ Make yourself a wonderfull March with all your lovely notebooks!
I love watching your notebook videos. I am so intrigued with your books. Thank you for sharing your process with us all. You are so generous for doing your giveaways. I really like the Life is Lovely Happy Notes. Any of them would be great. I use Happy Planners. Oh and those markers look awesome. Can't wait to see how you use them more in your notebooks.
I love the blackout journal it is so pretty!! I think I'd use it to write about stars. I like learning about the different constellations and the stories based around them. I don't know if that would help you out though. 😅
I think this challenge is working backwards for me. After watching, I got a ton of awesome ideas and bought 3 new notebooks 🙄. I regret nothing. Lol. Thank you for being so generous with your time and prizes!
I think I watched this twice! Great stack. You definitely have a way of making me want to shop for more notebooks!
StahbucksLovah you are the giveaway winner for this Happy Planner and markers! Please email me at sarra@heartbreathings.com to let me know which notebook you want and your mailing address. Congrats!
@@HeartBreathings I'm so excited! Thank you! Emailing you now! xoxo
Congrats on winning!
Congratulations!
Congratulations!!! I watch Sarra’s videos multiple times all the time! It’s like having a friend in the room!

I always loved the Me and My big ideas stuff for scrapbooking. It has been a revelation to find they make planners!
I want the Erin Condren notebooks and the DMX notebook please

On the left side of my daily journal, I write down the things that I did that day.
Look forward to your notebook challenges every month. Thank you for the inspiration for my own notebook obsession!
I just started reading The Shadow Demons saga last week. So, great to hear that your goal is a movie/tv deal!😍🙌🏽
I have the micro happy notes squad goals and I love it!! I would love the matching dot grid 🤩
So glad to be a part of this community
I am notebook/ planner obsessed and it is so nice to find your channel and realize I am not alone in my obsession.
Really enjoy these videos and seeing all the ways planners can help me be more organized in my life. Thanks for your lessons and all you do.
So looking forward to seeing who the winner is! My favorite is the “Rise and then shine“ simply because I love the quote 😄
I subscribed a while ago, and I'm commenting here to enter this month's giveaway. You have definitely reignited my love of all things stationery/planners! :)
Hello. I sometimes forget what to put in my planner. Thanks for reminding me.
I think anything from a giveaway would be absolutely fantastic!!
I love all your notebooks. It’s so nice to know I’m not the only one with multiple planners and notebooks! 😍
I just added a journal for happy moments. My stash of unused journals has dwindled.
Have a blessed week
I have yet to fill up a notebook this year! For the five year notebook you could use the extra page for a five year review of that day. Like what do the days have in common or was there a theme that you noticed for that day. Love your videos!!!!!
Thanks for the continued inspiration! It makes me want to find ways to use all my cute notebooks. And I absolutely love your plotting notebook. I am incorporating this for my newest writing project. :)
Thank you for getting my rear in gear as a writer. All the best. Looking forward to all your TH-cam's books and group.
I just came across your videos just a few weeks ago. I really enjoy watching your videos! Thanks for takeing the time to share with everyone!
Love this! I just picked up some new guided notebooks and can't wait to start bringing them into my daily routine.
Thank you, Sarra! I always look forward to your monthly notebook challenge. You are an inspiration to me
Loved the peek into your planners
I’ve been using a “personal size” binder for my planner stuff. I decorated the front cover, which is a transparent pouch-page, with cherry blossom stickers. I really like this cover. With a piece of white paper under it, it is white and pink with a bit of gold. For the five-year journal thing, you could put inspirational quotes, or maybe you could pick one day out of those five on a page and expand on it on the right side?
Your notebook game is fierce! I don’t know how you keep track of all of them, but I am inspired. Got to get some of those dot pens!!
Truthfully I don't know what to say, besides that you inspire me; not just in your planning but in your writing!
Those dot pens look amazing! I can see so ma y possibilities with writing. Thanks Sarra!
These notebook videos are my favorite! I'd choose rise and shine. ❤️
Make yourself a wonderfull March with all your lovely notebooks!
I seriously LOVE the multi color discs so much!!!
Love the way you're using your notebooks, and to see how you're using your gaming planner I think it's an awesome idea 😁
Thank you for sharing all your great ideas! Your plotting method with the happy planner has been a lifesaver as I work on my first novel.
I love the blackout journal it is so pretty!! I think I'd use it to write about stars. I like learning about the different constellations and the stories based around them. I don't know if that would help you out though. 😅
I love how you use all of your planners. It inspires me to all the ones I have too.
Loved this month's notebooks! And I love the Happy Planner so I really hope I win! And I definitely want to see another witchy journal set up!
Love your notebook challenges! I’m loving the Archer and Olive notebooks! Xx
I think this challenge is working backwards for me. After watching, I got a ton of awesome ideas and bought 3 new notebooks 🙄. I regret nothing. Lol. Thank you for being so generous with your time and prizes!
Love this Notebook Challenge video! The Hobonichi 5-year journal is a brilliant idea! :)
I would love the Live Colorfully planner! You've definitely turned me onto Happy Planners. I'm currently using my first one.
