    This is all done to reduce the desire of people to do all of this. Unfortunately. Can't thay simply hang a box in the store where people could drop this form? Or fill it out online?

    I noticed that there is a final mailing date on the form. I assume if I take this to the post office and they put a digital stamp on there or whatever post office markings, that it should be fine. I've never done this before but we have about $400 in rebates and don't want to love any. Thanks for the video, super helpful!

    I'm sorry but its all complete nonsense. There is no reason in today's day and age where rebates can't be submitted online. Secondly, there is no reason why it should take more than 2 months for you to receive your rebate which isnt cash back, it's store credit.

    I wasn't sure if I only have to send in that bottom part or the whole receipt.
    Didn't want to send the whole receipt in case I have to return something which it says it would void the rebate .
    I have sent in a lot of rebates in my time but they keep talking about the rebate receipt and since the whole thing is a receipt it's confusing .
    I wish they would put something above that line that says send in the bottom part only and keep the top part!

    I bought all materials for my back deck because I wanted the rebate. Over $3000+ and followed the guidelines as instructed and have always done before successfully but I never received the rebate and they told me they have no record of receiving it. The whole thing seemed intentional to me honestly. It was odd that this was the rebate that disappeared. I would be upset but I would have bought the material there anyway and realize that it could have been accidental since it was around the peak of the Covid 19 madness.

    • @finhunter
      @finhunter 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@lcas2891 A lot of people say this and I found out that I made this mistake. Menard's sends your rebate in a small flyer type of envelope that the ends tear off. It looks like junk mail and many people throw it away not knowing what it is. A friend told me about it. I bought about $15K of building material and it was delivered. I mailed the rebate a couple days late and it still came in. I used the $1600 rebate to buy more building material.

      Same here. They intentionally make it difficult in the first place. If they really cared, you would be able to just submit the form online.. But this process is intentional. Who is going to be able to prove that they throw out 10% of them?

    It is a lot easier now. However, you make looking for a matching number sound like a lot of work. It might take you five minutes to have an employee print you out a matching form if you can't find it, and in those five minutes, you've basically saved/ earned $20. That's basically $240 an hour. Not a bad wage. To me, it was worth the hassle even before.

    • @kohltec9911
      @kohltec9911  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah but it depends how busy the store is if an employee is readily available. Or if you left the store and forgot the slip now you can get it online. The closest Menards for me is 35-40 minutes away so forgetting that would not be ideal.

    • @kohltec9911

      No, I just mail in expired ones with good ones and they have never rejected them. Prior to me sending in my expired rebates, I searched Reddit and there were a lot of people claiming to have sent in expired rebates that were months past the date on the receipt. There was even someone claiming to have sent in rebates that were 2 years past and they still received the rebate. I think the trick is to send in multiple rebates at once and hide the expired ones in the middle.

      @@stevenssbargainbarn2294 I like the idea of that because if you use Menards frequently the paper rebate cards are annoying.
