Good job with the fields. Now keep in mind that you will also need space for the bread production and the houses support that, so plan ahead again where you will put them. I think the better place will be somewhere near the crossroad so you can gather there all the grain from the fields around. Like one small "bread Industrie" with windmills and ovens. I think two windmills will be ok, don t overdo it. For the barley and Ale production, you have the space near the future barley fields, to make one or two farmhouses, malt process and the houses needed to function and make beer. Also at the yellow-ish lower febrility land near the pond you can put maybe a couple more veggie farms.

I would say it's pretty risky prioritizing the retinue with only 5 men over building two militia to defend against the first outlaws. Also feels like a waste of money if they die. But that's just me
@@GamingNorse For me, the only reason to build the manor right now, is for the 1% tax so you start make slowly some money for the mercenaries. Otherwise the retinues are not that necessary right now.
