Did you ever install the new carburetor? I have a 1999 just like yours putting the carb back in has me confused because I had to put it aside for a couple of months forgot where some of the hoses go. Your pictures helped thanks. I don’t know what the white plastic thing connected to the coolant line does.
@@Alboiflex according to the manual I bought the white piece of plastic on the coolant line is some sort of filter. I did not mess with it just hooked it back up.
@@steveharmon2366 go to the left side of motorcycle look in between the two cylinders straight ahead the back side of your carburetor it's a small pipe pointing down that's where that y-shape piece go Hope I explained it good enough
What was your bike doing that made you change the carburetor? I got the same bike trying to figure out if we had the same issue. Everytime I shift into second the bike bogs out killing the acceleration was u going thru the same thing?

Does anybody know what sizes the jets are in a -97 VN 1500 Classic.

Yea sound like the same an I change out spark plugs
