I used to have a top loader and changed to a front loader. I‘d never go back. Not only is it more convenient but the clothes get so much cleaner IMO.

I love going through my sons' clothing every year to see what to replace or move on to the next child. What is going to be crazy, is this year, my oldest son will only go up in pants size. He's already in an adult men size small. It's nice to save money in that way, while bittersweet that he won't be growing too much more (he is still getting taller though and just grew a couple inches this summer).
I love going through the fridge too! I did that earlier today even. I love this nesting period you are going through. It's wonderful. So much is getting done.
I am 39 weeks today with my first, and I have enjoyed watching your videos. Your words have been encouraging throughout this pregnancy. I am very behind as far as prep goes, but at this point I don't have the energy to worry about it, lol. I hope and pray the remainder of your pregnancy goes well!

I have the same cloth diapers and both of my kids fit into them when they turned about 6 weeks old (roughly 9-10 lbs).
I just love u lady. How u post things n do voice overs explaining along the way is the best. I don't have kids but I adore u n ur life. The stained baby clothes you could have soaked in oxiclean and hot water. I had the same issue going thru my daughters stuff and it worked well!

Q. Love the idea of essential oils for scent, such a cheaper alternative to fabric conditioner etc… but does the oil not leave an oil stain? 😮

EOs are not actually oils. So no they don’t stain. I don’t use them anymore, but I know this to be the case.

My second is due Mid Aug. I’ve noticed things came out of the bins with yellow milky stains that were not visible when put away. They just appear with time. Most of my stuff was restored with a good sun bleaching,though!

FYI you're not supposed to pass down soothers, they are meant to be replaced every few months & not meant to be stored & used again. The rubber/silicone breaks down over time & can be a risk to your baby
I'm not sure that she does. In the videos she was weaning Theo and William from using them she says she cuts it until there's nothing left or until they decide they are completely done. Obviously she wouldn't pass down cut pacifiers.

@savannahmcilrath9658 could still be that since often pacifiers are made in 2 sizes, one for newborns and fresh babies, and one for 6+ months. So could be the ones that got the chop were all in bigger size and these newborn ones were stored/reused. So I think worthwhile to mention still!

Everything will be fine trust in the Lord. Can’t wait to be pregnant again for us it will be Baby number #2 our son is 11 mon. I had a C section with him the next time around a pray for Vbac too God willing everything will work out,the first time was rough the Baby’s heart beat kept going down that never happened in my whole pregnancy but I think it was because of the induction medicine due to Prolonged labor.
Nesting the baby items is the best nesting of all!

Yes to no-fold-method! I had felt so much pressure keeping my son's clothes fold, neat, and aesthetic but honestly... it's so freeing not folding them. It was such a mental shift.
I donated a lot of my baby clothes, but i plan to cut up and make a quilt out of my keepsake clothes. It will be like snuggling my babies every time I use it. ❤

For the stand freezer you might want look into getting a temp monitor to have a safety backup if the door doesn’t close. Deep freezes are great for the door always closing easily and therefor no wasted food but the stand up ones can happen and it’s really bad when it does esp if you made a bunch of meals to freeze in it

Yes top loader with agitator 🙌🏼 we bought a top loader with the impeller and it just doesn’t clean kids clothes/diapers nearly as well. We’re talking about getting a cheap one to put in the garage to use for our extra dirty stuff.

A question, you talked about the kids “keep sake boxes”, how much do you save in them for each child?
Im 37 weeks and i just did this too haha i feel really good because i finally got through all 8 bins of baby clothes/blankets etc 😂 down to just 2 not including the things i kept out for immediate use.
I've been watching your baby prep since Eloise and they are always so wonderful to watch. I remember being pregnant with my first around the time you were with Theo and I packed and organized so similarly... and then I had a traumatic emergency c-section which consequently meant my second baby was also a c-section delivery. I look at baby prep, especially postpartum prep so much differently now, and I can't help but have a heavy heart thinking that you might go through a c-section PP situation. It's so so different from what everyone says a vaginal birth is like, and I really don't wish you any hardship in that department! I will be prepping for our next baby in the winter, but I wish that the books and podcasts and videos I had used for my first talked more about c-section birth and recovery, because I was NOT prepared! Also, considering it's been sitting around for years, check the bottle nipple! The silicone can degrade and become discolored, oily/sticky, and prone to breakage.
Loved this video. I’m 24 weeks with baby number 3 and need to do basically everything on you’re list, too. 🙈 Except we’re sticking with our sedan and need to buy all new car seats in order to get three across the back bench.

You are so organized. I was organized on my first and she took 19h to come so on my second I just left things till the last month. She is now 6 months and we still haven't got her room totally done, I don't know if she is just going to go to her sister's room when she sleeps through the night and just skip her room altogether :D Less work and less steps for her too

Pro tip - the stains can probably be removed! Try to put them out in the sun for a couple of hours - it does magic! 😁👌 I have used cloth diapers for years and all of them gets yellow after a while - but after a couple of hours in the sun (after washing obviously) they are bright white again ☺️👌 should work the same for clothes as well 🤗

Stick with the cloth diapers for sure! I've been doing them with my daughter for 21 months and so glad we stuck with it. Make sure to keep bleach on hand for when ammonia might develop and for stripping. Night time diapers that are muslin flats hold the most pee and can phase disposables totally out of your stash. Best of luck! ❤

The yellow spit up stains show up after sitting for a long time. So you probably kept some of that stuff because it wasn’t stained in the past and got stained from sitting over time. You can soak things in oxi clean for a few hours before washing and it should take some of those stains!
