Never consider them for camping or bug out type storage but makes perfect sense since most are IP rated for weather protection. Great for storms, floods, etc. as ling as they dont get lost.
I bought the Packout 3 and 4 drawer units recently during one of their promotions. They had dividers for all the drawers. Maybe you had some influence on Milwaukee to do that! Thanks for the video.
Ha. I asked the Milwaukee rep about the dividers in the drawers when the VP was down here at my local Home Depot. She said that the reason they only have a few in there is to keep the drawers at a certain price point so they can have more initial sales, and then people can add more if they need them.
Great video, Excellent organization with all those stacks. You also helped me understand how those drawers can be justified as I'm used to the standard larger heavy duty tool chests. I changed jobs and had to start bringing tools to my work site after 16 years of working out of large slide drawer boxes. I never had to worry or be very organized. I tried a basic metal tool box for a while but eventually built a packout stack including a crate and love the system. I do think it's a bit expensive. However when you need to be mobile with tools it's sure makes things more enjoyable. 👍
yea, I looked at tons of different options but just realized that moving these around in small or large configurations really made a ton of sense. I keep refining them and improving the org of them too.
I love my Packet Gear just as it is, I need to get more but have to mount some stuff on the wall first, also will be using 1-2 of them for other stuff, Fishing Gear and more, great ;products would love to be able to get anything Milwaukee for Free
Milwaukee has been giving out the dividers enough for what drawer system you buy. I got my 2 small and 1 big drawer packout and got all the dividers for it. It could be a few thing that Milwaukee has listen and changed how they sell the kits now.
I see at 5min 33 seconds you show your Packout rolling tool box on a 4 wheeled cart. Can you go through how you modified the box and attached the 4 wheel rolling cart at bottom?
I pulled the wheels off of that packout as soon as I got it. Made it a lot easier to store it in my truck. I just rests on the dolly and as long as I am careful it rolls around just fine. Seeing as its my camping / trail stuff, it usually sits around a lot!
This is how any trade person should be l am a joiner by trade but I have not got as much as you sir in packouts but I be getting more packouts Milwaukee have done a great job with these box’s they are a bit pricey but I do like them 👍👏👏
I get being sponsored for those trays.. but good lord they are high dollar for just a few little drawers. I'd have to be on the trail everyday for a living-- like "Trailmater channel, to justify that commitment. Milk crates are your friend.
Dang bro! Labels and clear heat shrink, you are DaMan! Is the heat shrink the adhesive kind “maritime spec” I guess. Crazy question man, what label maker do you use and what font size? As I approach 50 I’m using readers and have come to live labels I can read and organization as a whole. Thanks and keep up the great work.
Ya they would be in my shop too if I was a "Milwaukee ambassador" and "not making any money off this video" thats why I seen a monitized add lol.... Love Milwaukee and starting my collection too but paying full price
You do realize that if a product is provided that’s considered payment? Plus it’s not like Milwaukee sends me all these, they send me one or two and I buy the rest. At full price.
We prefer to have crap strewn everywhere so we look for it, can’t find it, end up buying another, losing that one, buying another. Then after the project is done, find all the originals. Around here, the more you have strewn about, the harder it is for a crackhead to make off with it all at once. Crackheads love packout boxes. They sell well to pawn shops too lmao.

I love how you organize by function and not by type.
oh yea, you gotta stay in the flow.
@@MerricksGarage yep the workflow
Milwaukee should definitely sponsor you. Great and honest evaluation!!.
I know, he's soooooo lame!
I am Ryobi, but I can see the better design and quality in the Milwaukee pack outs.
Finally a video actually showing what they can be used for
Never consider them for camping or bug out type storage but makes perfect sense since most are IP rated for weather protection. Great for storms, floods, etc. as ling as they dont get lost.
Probably the cleanest tool boxes I've ever seen
Those Milwaukee Pack Out's work great. 👍
You have at least one box from every company for these types of boxes, don't you?! 🤣🤣😇
of course he does.

That would stoke me out if that is the case! Glad to hear that they came fully stocked!
This organization makes my OCD so happy 🤣. Thanks for sharing!

Whaaaa? They seek to make a profit?! The nerve!

I started on my packout system a few months ago, I need me some of the drawers!
they are fantastic.

that would be awesome. Total pet peeve of mine. I would rather have them and not need than have to buy more.
I have the Ridgid one's and love um
Outstanding!
Great video!
This isa great walk through, thank you! always looking for good ideas for organizing my equipment.
What kind of wire rack is that?
Nic set up 😮
Thanks 😁

how do you lock a milk crate? Or keep the stuff from getting rained on, or covered in dust? How do you lock them to the floor? These are used daily!

Thanks for the review! What label maker do you use? Looks great.
I may need to start investing in some of those towers for my garage! Anyone want to buy a bunch of Rigid Pro boxes??? LOL!!🤣
Doing it right!
Show us more of how you mount them in the trucks and more in-depth of everthing
What packout did you use for your ring connectors? Trying to do the same but cannot figure out which packout you have
It’s one that isn’t stackable with the others unfortunately. Doesn’t have the mounting plate on the bottom. Let me see if I can find part number.
TEAM RED4LIFE!!
What quick connect electrical connectors do you use ?
I prefer the Deutsch Connectors
@@MerricksGarage I meant the ring connectors.
The shop i work at has no organisation or Milwaukee packout? We have the hardware salad bar and the scrap pile in the yard is our parts department.
yea, that would drive me crazy.

That's my only concern with this setup, if someone breaks into my van it's gonna make it a 5 minute job for a couple of guys to clear my van out 😂
Anyone else see a blue collar obi-wan kenobi?
First time I have heard that one!
Don't see the point in buying packout that will never leave the shop. You could get US General toolboxes with double the storage for the same price.
"I am a Milwaukee ambassador" "I have no skin in the game with this"
These 2 statements don't fit together
Why? I don’t make money off anyone buying these?

Not true. If stuff sucks I say so.
If anyone says anything bad abt Milwaukee...the red army will swarm you
Lol
You lost me when you said Milwaukee gave you all the packouts as a “brand ambassador”. Good for you but you cannot ignore the cost when doing reviews.
I’m pretty sure I mentioned that they sent me a couple and I purchased the majority?
Too expensive.
compared to what?
Your not making money? So you don’t get paid for views?
some people got money to burn.
Thank you!
$4,000 worth of boxes, really?! Get ride of some unnecessary stuff!
To each their own, hater.
