Try blue cheese butter creole butter ! You will love the creole one if your a fan of blue cheese you will like it I’m not but make it for the mass also if you need a blue cheese crust recpie can give you one !
Depends on many things! Personally, I freeze all of them, then they last 3-6 months and its easy to take a slice when you need one. This is how most restaurants store compound butters

I mean a flakey sea salt like Maldon or similar, but a kosher salt would work aswell

Is there a difference using all the same ingredients including the butter directly, vs using a compound butter.
Yes, its subjective but i think the compound butter extracts more flavour from the aromatics
