I don't know how you got that second bolt off. I ended up removing the latch assembly and that made it much faster. Once I did that, I could access both bolts with an extension. More screws to remove, but faster for me. Thanks for the video. Very helpful.
This right here! Don’t even bother trying to take that second bolt off without detaching the latch first. It’s impossible. Plus, the latch only has 4 extra screws holding it on. Easy peasy!
Gracias el vídeo fue de mucha ayuda, talvez me costó porque es mi primera vez, mire el video muchas veces, y con paciencia todo se puede!!!! Thanks, the video was very helpful, maybe it was hard for me because it's my first time, I watched the video many times, and with patience everything is possible!!!!
It wasn't your fault. They *always* break. I lost all 4 of mine, and none of them came off in anyone's hand.. They just fell off while driving. They were defective from the factory. New ones have a better design, so it should last longer.
Did you have any problems getting the rod back into the white clip? I’m putting a new handle in as I’m typing this comment, and I’m having a hard time getting the rod to go in. Got any tips as for how to go about getting that SOB back in?
That second bolt from the inside of the door handle is nearly impossible to remove if you don’t have some special tool. Take the latch off! It’s only 3 screws on the edge of the door and one on the inside. It’s waaaay easier this way. I wasted almost an hour trying to get that second bolt off before I realized you can take the latch off and have direct access to the second bolt.
Nobody pulled it too hard . These Altima door handles eventually break no matter what you do. If you examine them, you'll notice that they are inadequately designed and the slot at the rear of the scoop simply weakens them further. It's a poor design, but we were warned by the Nissan logo on the front ;).
...I did a front Passenger side door, what a pain in the ass it was. Those door assemblies, that hold those door handles in place, are Crap, it's a piss more design. With a big enough screwdriver, you could beak those door handles, reach in with your hand, and unlock the door. I will never buy a nissan, because of this piss poor design. Next time, I do one of these door handles, I'll glue the new handle assembly to the door, for extra measure of security.
Lol. Right. I should have just cut out a big access panel with a saw. That would have been so much easier. I'll try that on the next one. Thanks for watching my video.

You forgot to put the connection back for the power window and locks🙆🏾♂️
You could just drill a hole roughly were the bolt is what kinda mechanic are you
