I agreed and donated the clothing. Let the buyer beware, especially on the internet.

I order a lot from Aliexpress. Here are some tips to prevent getting scammed: 1. Check the reviews. Some reviews have photos of the delivered product which is really helpful. 2. Check the size chart. Chinese sizes are way smaller than western ones. 3. Read the description of the product. It may not be the exact same as the pictures. 4. The price will give you a clue. If it's dirt cheap, there'll be a 90% chance the quality will be dirt cheap. 5. Know your body type. You can't try on the clothes so buy something you know you that will look good on you.
Just learned this lesson myself. Ordered four pieces from a company and the items I was sent looked NOTHING like what I ordered. The measurements, and materials were totally different from what I was supposed to receive, and the garments looked NOTHING like the photos. Come to find out the just took photos from a legit page (like you said) and tried to make “something” that I guess they thought looked similar. I wanted to send everything back, but apparently these items are from China, and the cost to return costs more than I paid for the items, so this is fully a lose-lose situation. Lesson learned.😔

😆 When buying from the trendy websites I always look to see who bought it and if there is a picture of real people wearing the outfit. Also, if they website don’t have pictures of the model from all sides, something ain’t right. This goes for well known websites too!
If you right click a photo in Chrome, use Google Image Search, you can basically search for where else that photo is posted. Lots of times you can confirm a product photo is stolen that way.
This is why brick and mortar stores need to stay in business so we can shop in person

😆 When buying from the trendy websites I always look to see who bought it and if there is a picture of real people wearing the outfit. Also, if they website don’t have pictures of the model from all sides, something ain’t right. This goes for well known websites too!

If you right click a photo in Chrome, use Google Image Search, you can basically search for where else that photo is posted. Lots of times you can confirm a product photo is stolen that way.
