I would be interested in comments about your Murphy performance based on comments I made it the last video regarding engine out simulations and dead stick landings in my Murphy. Love my Murf! Thanks for tuning in. See "Dead Stick" video: th-cam.com/video/O-1iwawybNA/w-d-xo.html
Hi captain T It's a cold winter here in northern NY . Waiting for the snow storm to stop. In regards to your question on my elite . I have had it 8 years all ready about 350 hours. It jumps off the ground and loves to fly but seems to be tailwheel heavy . Short field landing is a challenge. 160 hp 030 under the hood. At 2300 rpm cruise is about 95 its fast cruise is 100 its
Recommend this article for everything Murphy. www.airbum.com/pireps/PirepRebel160.html A more realisteic number of hours for a COMPLETEED, Flying AIRPLANE is more likely 1200-1800 Hrs. The last 10% of a build takes more time than just putting together the airframe.
8.00's is as big as we go unless we dive in and do brakes and wheels as well. I had bigger shoes but due to tube problems (they don't seem to make them for Matco's) I sent them all back for now. Bigger feet would only make me slower! I'm slow enough already.
@@TangoSierra2022 Exactly boss...so many of the people that have them (big bush tires) arent using them for the designed purpose...just ruining an expensive set of tires and getting to fly around slower 🤣

I would like to pick your brain about some things I need to address on my Murphy best regards Frank
Looking at buying a rebel and found your video!
Lots of videos on my channel about all that went into getting Murf back up to snuff. May be helpful to you. Thanks for watching! Capt. "T"
