- The Scrambler is gaining more and more fans. Honda wanted a place at the table so we get another variation on the 500cc twin cylinder engine. Is this a real scrambler? Check the video!

It's a great first or second bike. Honda quality and reliability. You can't go wrong. I prefer the CB500X but this will make a lot of people happy.
Sadly the X is hard to find round here.

I had a 1973/74 Honda CL450 Scrambler. I like the design of my old Honda CL450 better than the new CL500. Honda should not have run the exhaust pipes under the bike like that, they should have run them the same way they did on their old CL450 scrambler, it's too easy to bang up your exhaust pipe they way they have it now.
Also, my old CL450 Scrambler had a very comfortable seat, you could ride it all day. But that's not true for the new CL500.

For daily commuting, between this & the Interceptor which one do you think is better set out of the factory? (Seat, suspension, brakes etc.)

Are those stock mirrors? Mine are round on my USA version, I like the oval shape better.
Thanks for your opinion, nice video! How tall are you ? I'm at 1,87m and am considering this bike. Your comment on the folded legs got me having second thoughts... there is also a slightly higher seat available, did you get to try it ?
I had the stock seat, my height is 1.84 cm
@@RacingandAdventure ai.... and you feel a little cramped, right ? I guess I'll ask Honda if they have a test unit with the high seat. Don't want to get a bike that is too tiny for me.... (I'm currently riding a XSR 125 and passing the A2 exam, thus my interest in the CL 500 :) thanks once again!
Put on a skidplate and some road-legal knobbies. Shave some weight. It'll be fine off-pavement. Just don't expect it to be a thumper dualsport on the dirt.
Upgrade the suspension if you have to.
I eagerly await a sub-500lb curb CL750.

Which helmet brand do you use? I like the colour of helmet.

@@RacingandAdventure Actually, I asked the helmet which is used in the video. I guess it is not full face helmet. C70 is full face. You use open face helmet with orange colour on top and black colour on both side that I see.
