Couldn't believe it, in shock, we grew up with these movies...10 things I hate about you...and many others 😔 brokeback mountain...there is also another Aussie film but dark but I thought was so 👍
I miss Heath he was such a great method actor. Unfortunately he passed away just trying to get some sleep. Just imagine if he was still here. He gave some phenomenal films. Thank you Scott. ❤️
He seemed like such a beautiful, empathetic man.Very modest and kind and a great father n at the same time you could tell he had issues with self esteem even though he was so handsome.Still is one of my favorite actors in movies i love,Dark Knight,Candy and Brokeback Mountain.Hes watching over his beautiful daughter Matilda.Thank you ,this was a beautiful moving video
I was a huge fan of his act as the Joker but was too young at the time to understand his death. This brought closure to my younger me. Rest well Heath ❤.
What a loss to the acting world. He had so much more he could have done. Thanks Scott for all the younger photos of Heath. We often forget they are still someones son, brother, father. Etc. ❤❤❤
I remember the morning the news reported Heath's passing. I will never forget that day! Brokeback Mountain is one of my absolute favourite films, ever!! Such a brilliant actor, and over 15 years later, I am still sad that he's gone. Gone too soon!! As usual, Scott, a great video!! Much respect from Toronto! ✌🏾
Another amazing legacy gone way too soon. Heath Ledger was such an amazing actor. Loved all his movies. Like you said on here he was so very talented & that is an understatement. Thank you for the beautiful tribute Scott💕
I think scott is very respectful and loving to all people especially the people that no longer here. and there's nothing wrong with visiting a place where they died. he simply is just honoring him, as everyone should be honored, and im honored to be scott's loyal viewer. good job scott. from Vickie🥰
He is. I grew up a few blocks from there. I saw Heath 1x walking across the street in the opposite way. I know he hated people coming up to him so I just held up the Peace sign and he gave me a nod. RIP Heath.
I’ve been waiting for you to do one on Heath! Died way too early! 2 days before my bday too. They say he was also sick too while he was in the middle of filming The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassas which is why he was taking all the stuff he was. But anyways this was Very well put together and respectful. He was one of my top favorite actors. Thank you Scott! Keep up the amazing content my friend!
Miss his acting and compassion. Definitely gone far to soon. I thank you Scott. You have mad respect skills and treat everyone that has passed on with dignity and you keep their memory alive. 🕊️🙏❤️
I loved him as an actor and was gutted when he passed away, his portrayal of the Joker is the best acting I will ever see in my life, I was born the same year as him and to die at 28, makes you feel like we never got to see him grow and evolve in his career and it really is tragic, I will always have a kind of bond with him because my Daughter was born on the 4th of April 2008, She shares his birthday with him and was born on the year he passed away, it's a strange one but we have both watched his films together and she thinks it's cool that she shares her birthday with an absolute legend, Rest in peace Heath Ledger and thanks Scott for another great video.
The saddest part of all of this is that it's another preventable death. I honestly think that there needs to be a national narcotic database for the medical field that doctors would be required to check to see if their patient already has any prescribed narcotics that they weren't made aware of. It's a drastic measure I know, but in these times it's just too easy for any of us to go from one doctor to the next in any State at any time and have them write a duplicate prescription, or a prescription for a drug that clashes with another drug the patient is already taking. I would bet if there were something like this then maybe hundreds if not thousands of lives would be saved. I know it wouldn't help with street drugs but at least it's a start. What a shame such a talented fellow is gone because of some drugs that any of us could get from our own doctors. Beautiful job on the video Scott. RIP Heath Ledger. I hope someone can learn something from what happened to you ❤💐
Your body will naturally build resistance if you take more than prescribed amount. Sadly, he combined the "prescription". Reason you cant mix prescribed medication. Plus, I did hear about that rumour that MK Olsen had provided the painkillers to Heath. Tragic. RIP Joker
This is so sad he was the joker ever and I know where I'm from in Pennsylvania if I'm going on vacation etc they will make sure I have enough till I get back home and they ask where you going just in case if something were to happen so my pharmacy will get ahold of the pharmacy in the area to where I'm going to make sure they have not gave me anything and why didn't the doctors tell him you can't mix them medicine 😢😢😢😢😢Rip Helth😢😢😢😢
Here in Australia the Dr has to ring for an authority script and the chemist knows if you have been to another chemist with a script as it is linked it is a bit tougher her in Australia and every 12 months you have to see another Dr if you are on pain killers to see if you really need them or if there is other ways to help with pain. Maybe the USA my need something like this.
Very well done… I am moved by your videos. They really touch your heart and make you feel like you’re right at the day of the stars passing… That’s a very difficult thing to do but you make it look so easy. God bless you and all the people that you bring the most beautiful memories to, you’re a good person and you do a lot for all the fans across the world to be able to enjoy their favorite actors and actresses❤
One of my favorite videos of yours Scott! His acting in the Joker is some of the best I have ever seen by any male artist. Phenomenal! I am a huge film nerd including old, foreign films etc. Rest in peace Heath Ledger. ~Love&Light♥️C.
Hey Scott. Your end message really hit home. Back in 1999 I used to take painkillers every day up till 2009. I saw a Heath Ledger documentary in 2009 which made me think about myself. I got clean for almost 6 years then I hit a bad spot. So from 2015 till I saw your video on 23rd September. I've stopped again. This is my 2nd day without taking any painkillers. It's gonna be tough but gotta do it again from my partner and my 4 year old boy. Thanks again Scott for opening my eyes 😊
I live right down the road from his old stomping ground! We miss our Perth son! I remember when the Westboro Church threatened to come here and picket his funeral… yeah that wouldn’t have gone down well! He was Australia’s son!!! Rest easy Heath 🙏🙏♥️
I remember the day he died. My sister tried to tell me that he passed, and I didn't believe her. Gone waaay too soon. Rest well Heath. I have a tattoo dedicated to him.
Scott, thanks for tactfully sharing such a tragic story. Heath was such a remarkable talent one doesn't see as often as we'd like. We all miss him. Unfortunately drugs, street or script take so many lives each day- of all different walks of life. The difference here is everyone knew who Heath was as an actor, some as a friend, some as a relative. To me, he was a bright star on screen. If you look up at the sky at night, that one bright star that catches your eye is him. RIP Heath Ledger.
Thank u for this video. Ur always so respectful. I love Heath such an amazing actor and such a beautiful person. I still remember hearing that day he had passed and i was devastated and still am. Was 6 days b4 my birthday Cant believe its been that long now. Rest well Heath. Ur missed and loved very much
Great video, Scott! I hope Matilda is surrounded by people who remind her of the type of person her father was while he was alive instead of focusing on his unfortunate passing. He was an incredible actor! I was in high school at the time and couldn’t fully grasp how young 28 truly is. It would have been amazing to see where his career would have taken him 💔
I think about Heath all the time. He was phenomenal in everything I seen him in from His Blockbusters to indie films like Lords of Dogtown, Candy, & I'm not There. RIP Heath.
Heath was such a good looking guy and good actor. I've only seen him in Lords of Dogtown. Like everybody else, I was shocked when he died. Thanks for the video. RIP Heath ❤️✨ 🕊️🌈
Thank you Scott! Great tribute! Fell in love with him in 10 Things I Hate About You. I was home watching tv when it broke that he died. So heartbreaking when i think we were close to the same age
I first saw him in Home and Away - an Aussie classic TV series- believe I was visiting my relatives in Australia back then, it was a small part but that boy sure had a great stage presence! Then next I saw him in the Patriot as.. the son who died way too young. Then in the title role as Casanova - an absolutely captivating and hilarious although critically panned. Brokeback Mountain is banned in Malaysia, for obvious reasons. I was interning before I officially started working when I heard he had passed. It felt unreal. He was so alive whenever you saw him, how was it possible? Everyone I knew made plans to see the new Batman movie just to see him one last time. And as always, he did not disappoint any of us. He definitely earned that Oscar. RIP Heath.
A excellent view Ty Scott, Sheesh so sad that we lost such a amazing person & actor! Appreciate your efforts & honest facts in every vlog! Ty Bro luv&peace. Cheers to Continued success friend! 💛✌💫
Thank you Scott 💖 I like to remember the smile he had with the ink tea stain from the movie 'The Patriot ' I'll bet Keith is smiling & saying "thank you" for him being remembered in this fine video that was made with so much love.
Great video Scott, I use to drive past Heath's old Guildford Gramma School in Perth Western Australia often on my way to a mates place, it had amazing architectures there. such a tragic loss to us all. RIP Heath 🇦🇺
Oh Scott, this one of those synchronicity moments. I always watch your videos for years, but have been busy with work lately. Somehow Heath turned up in my feeds a week ago and I have been watching just shorts of the Joker. I thought about searching for something like this and I just came home from work, opened my lap top to chill and your video came in feeds. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING you're doing.
Thank you Scott. I always thought Heath would be a good pick to portray Andy Gibb in a bio pic. Another tragic situation. Enjoy your videos and the reverence you afford your subjects.
thankyou for making this video, he first became famous thanks to an aussie tv show home & away i still watch everynight over here down under the show has had plenty of hollywood actors start of on it chris hemsworth, dannii minogue, isla fisher, samara weaving, tammin sursock, isabel lucas, melissa george, julian mcmahon.. the show is set at summer bay (palm beach) i live and grew up about a 30 minute drive from palm beach. i once met heath ledger as kid around the time he was on home & away. i never really thought much of it back than. as he wasn’t that “big of a name” at the time.
Wow! Very moving Scott. Such a loss for everyone, especially his little girl, he was a wordly treasure and is still to this day, truly missed. RIP Dear Heath 😢🙏🕊
Absolutely devastated when he died. One of my favourites like River phoenix- taken way too soon. A fantastic actor versatile, honest and believable. His joker was my favourite as he fully immersed himself in the role. Much deserved Oscar and heartbreaking he never got to receive it himself. Thank you for sharing and being so mindful Scott as always
@@Velvetnoirestar it is extremely sad. I headed to Melbourne when Heath headed to Sydney to begin his career in acting but I have always felt the role of the Joker just wasn't for him, it was a really dark character and he was on heavy medication. His dad and sister were telling him not to mix his meds just before he died. Heath was a perfectionist which was good and bad in a way I guess. God I still remember Heath in Home and Away which is still on Channel 7.
Now, all medical are in a joint system (in the US at least) so that can't happen anymore. Any dr can pull up all your meds, from who, when, where, why, amount, how many left, etc. ♥️ Good job on this video. Sad story.
That certainly sounds good and ”safe”, but otoh I personally feel it is (another) invasion of an individual’s privacy. We’re all adults and do not need to be supervised and monitored by authorities like children. Yes, ”accidents” can happen, but let me tell you, if you wanted to ( and I’m not saying he did anything of the sort, in fact, the whole incident is so sketchy I have my doubts about the ”accidentally mixed prescription drugs” altogether, since we’ve been fed way too many similar stories over the past decades), then you’d find a way, joint system or not.
Thank🌹You, Scott. That was soooo BeAuTiFuL. I can't tell you how much your sensitively done video will mean to Heath Ledger fans like myself. I absolutely loved it.💕 He was such a phenomenal actor and will always be greatly missed. Again, Thank😊 You ! 💐
I loved him. 10 Things is the greatest, but his performance of Ennis in Brokebsck was haunting. His portrayal of the Joker was mesmerizing and I think a lot for him to take on at that point in his life. Drug addiction is heartbreaking and a life long struggle. RIP.
I feel like it was just yesterday the news broke about his death. So sad and gone too soon. Love how respectful you are of the places and people you make videos about.
I remember hearing about this what a good looking man and actor so young and gone way to soon 😢 thanks scott for sharing hugs from dublin ( RIP HEATH )🙏🙏🙏
Man.....Scott I love you man your vids are phenomenal!!!!!! Im from Chicago where they filmed the dark knight and I have the heath ledger joker tattooed on my arm awesome video man!!!!!💯💯😁👍
I remember when this happened. I was working just south of SOHO in Tribeca. He was great in 10 Things I Hate About You and The Patriot. I haven't seen his other movies yet. Gone way too soon. If you ever make it to Brooklyn, you need to check out Green-Wood Cemetery. Lots of famous and infamous people buried there.
Thanks Scott. I’m an Aussie so I love when you do anything for us although Heath belonged to the world. I used to be a flight attendant with Emirates and when he was flying with us shortly before his death he was acting very erratically on his flight. Ooh I did Love 10 things I Hate about you. Still have the CD soundtrack as well. 🥰⭐️🍿 think I’ll go listen to it now in his memory. 💋🇦🇺
When Heath died I was living in his home town Perth Australia. His memorial is at Karrakatta cemetery in Fremantle which is where Bon Scott's (original AC/DC singer) ashes are also interned. His family still live in the suburb of Applecross and despite him having a memorial his remains were scattered at Cottesloe beach privately although publicly after his service family and friends gathered there at The Indian Teahouse to celebrate his life and as the sun was settling morners swam in the ocean as it was one of his favourite places, mine too its totally beautiful. Cate Blanchette and Michelle Williams attended. I lived in Perth for 10yrs but returned to the UK 8yrs ago, my 27yr old son Andrew sadly was found just as Heath was in july 2020. He'd taken his own life after suffering depression and the addictions that can bring. A touching tribute there Scott to a brilliant young man who like my son had so much to look forward too but had his demons... One ❤
What up Long Socks! Heath Ledger remains one of my favorite actors. I think A Knights Tale is hugely underrated. Heath Ledger surrounded by a supporting cast of great character actors. Passed way to soon. Great video. Thanks for the awesome content.
So right, Scott. I take oxycodone and I double check any time my Doctor wants to add or change my meds so it won't mess with the oxy. I am very fierce in protecting myself so that an over dose can't happen. No one but me, touches my medicine box!
I absolutely loved Heath. Infact I was collecting all his movies that he had been in when he died. Just so heartbreaking 💔. Way to young to die and what a fantastic actor. His acting in everything he did was spot on. His movie Candy was incredible. Again, thank u Scott for doing this video ❤
It was a shock the day he died. I still have all my magazines about his death and him on the cover. It was heartbreaking. Nice video Scott. I ve always wanted to go by here but only been to nyc twice and never got the chance to go.
He died way too early. I remember the day he died like it was yesterday. Thank you Scott for sharing this.
Couldn't believe it, in shock, we grew up with these movies...10 things I hate about you...and many others 😔 brokeback mountain...there is also another Aussie film but dark but I thought was so 👍
Bob Dylan movie also different actors playing him❤ Heath played part...the scene was played at Oscars for memoriam 😢
Pretty sure your talking about the movie Candy. I love the book adaptation.
I can't believe it's been 15 years. He will always be missed. Such a loss to his family and fans😥 Rest easy Heath 🙏🫶
Dude thanks for this one
May Heath Ledger's spirit remain forever within this planet

Hard to believe he has been gone for so long. I pray his soul is at rest. He was special! ❤
Thank you Scott for doing Heath Ledger! Gone way too soon!
If they had made a movie about Andy Gibb, I always thought that he would be perfect for it because he kinda favors him. Very good video.
I agree. RIP Andy ✨❤️
Agreed, he did look alot like Andy. RIP to Both Andy and Heath.
Agreed!
He was a beautiful and great actor. Thank you Scott for sharing this story. May Heath rest in peace 💞

It was a tragedy. Thanks for showing 🙏🏼

@@breephoenix111 it’s really sad hey, so young and talented-great loss 🌻
Yes, ”accidents” can happen, but let me tell you, if you wanted to ( and I’m not saying he did anything of the sort, in fact, the whole incident is so sketchy I have my doubts about the ”accidentally mixed prescription drugs” altogether, since we’ve been fed way too many similar stories over the past decades), then you’d find a way, joint system or not.
you really need to educate yourself on privacy and why they do this!!! @@-breakofdawn-
@@-breakofdawn- true. Agreed.
Thank🌹You, Scott. That was
soooo BeAuTiFuL.
New subscriber. Recently found your channel, very enjoyable. Thanks for the interesting videos and your hard work 🌻
Thank you Karen!
Wow! That was a great one Scott. Really enjoyed listening to the life of Heath Ledger. Missed dearly here in N.Y.
Well done Scott. I loved heaths work.

Time really flies!! I loved the video Scott!🙏❤
Lots of famous and infamous people buried there.
like who
@cynthiachristie1059 a lot of athletes buried there and war people also some mobsters. I live near this cemetery
Ty Scott again respectful. 🙏
Great Australian actor 👍🏻
Thanks for keeping the nickname alive !
@@SCOTTONTAPE many a year from now the writing on the stone will read “Here lies Canadian folk hero Scott O’Tape. Better known as Long Socks.”
Beautifully and respectfully done, per usual. Much love from Chicago
Love love loved Heath!!!! Scott thank you so much for sharing this video! ❤
So right, Scott. I take oxycodone and I double check any time my Doctor wants to add or change my meds so it won't mess with the oxy. I am very fierce in protecting myself so that an over dose can't happen. No one but me, touches my medicine box!
Rip Heath ! Tuff One when they are so young, He had so much life left, can only imagine what the world will miss out on . 😞
Thank you for this video. I remember when he died. I remember when he was on that show about the Vikings.
It was a shock the day he died. I still have all my magazines about his death and him on the cover. It was heartbreaking. Nice video Scott. I ve always wanted to go by here but only been to nyc twice and never got the chance to go.
Beautiful video, for such an amazing talent! Gone way to soon 😢
