Totally agree she is a autumn ,you quite often see her typed as a summer , but when she wore the gold dress to the James Bond premiere she looked amazing ! same with a eggplant and olive green out fit she wore the colours looked perfect on her .I think she has that smoky warmth that gets mistaken for ash and summer
Okay thank you! I have always thought she was a autumn. Like me she shines in that mossy green and ivory. When I was constantly dressing in the wrong season, no one noticed my eye color EVER. Not til you guys got me in my autumn colors did people notice I have green eyes. Dark green mossy with gold and light brown flecks.
Like the Queen before, she needs to be noticed from afar, hence jewel tones. In her casual countryside outfits she thrives in mossy greens and rich browns.
This is a very interesting point, and while our analysis was done to enhance her softer facial features, celebrities have a secondary responsibility- to be noticed from afar. I love this thoughtful comment. Color Analysts among us- is there a way she can have both? Wear her own personal palette while effectively "billboarding"? Thoughts?
@@ColorClassInc it is true yet another point is that sometimes they need to “dress for diplomacy” that summer yellow was to pick on the yellow of the Jamaican flag if I remember correctly it’s quite difficult isn’t it sometimes to balance this things with a job such a the one the royals performs! By the way I love your videos and I’m subscribing so classy and well addressed! I’ve been dressing in a very very neutral palette but now I have a kid for some reason makes me want to wear more colour but still look classy and elegant and I think your Chanel will help me! Bright colors overpower her. She looks her best in soft colors. But I think she has cool undertones, which makes her a summer. She could have the softness in common with autumn. There are other pictures of her where she looks lovely in summer palette colors. Some soft green tones from the autumn work, but not olive. I watched The Style Coach video about Kate Middleton.
The princess has the most gorgeous eyes! She often wears greens to enhance them. From the analyses I’ve seen previously she’s always typed as a summer, but it seems to me like she colours her hair a warmer tone. I find that her hair around the time of her wedding is a lot colder. What do you think about summer for her vs her in autumn tones? I’m a bit unsure what I prefer.
She is definitely a summer to me. If you look at her in summer colors, you will see how she looks good. My hair and eyes are the same color and my skin is cool toned like her and I am a summer but I also wear some winter shades.
The CMB folks across the pond have her in the "clear" palette. If you are clear and warm that makes you spring. Clear spring. I think though that you guys are onto something as true autumn seems to be working better
Yes! I’ve recently been typed as clear and informed to watch theOriness for style inspiration. My eyes are not the same as hers, though. I also think I’m more pale.
@@cathwalsh9921 yes. If you are pale in skin with colored eyes against dark hair you are likely clear. Princess is probably more likely a balance of deep, warm, and soft
Cool summer. Autumn dulls her out. The red is dyed. Warm hair before puberty does not impact season which is why you can’t analyze children. Her natural hair is very cool brown if you look at college photos.
I disagree. The Princess of Wales looks stunning in pale blue and other summer colors. I believe she is a summer. Her skin is cool. I have seen photos of her with mustard and orange and she disappears in those colors.
We love it when you guys speak up! As I’ve said for 30 years working in this business, Color Analysis is part art and part science- so a great dialogue on different perceptions is fun and helpful. The problem with gorgeous women is they simply look good all the time. The only way for us to confirm is by draping her- and I don’t see that happening any time soon. Thanks again!
Please, she never was Kate, an is not Middleton since over 12 years. No one calls a married woman by her maiden name. Royal or not. Thank you . Interesting video, however!
So many people say Kate is cool, but I’ve never been convinced because she looks so good in warm yellow gold!
I am glad you guys are being positive about the princess instead of negative
She’s a beautiful, poised woman who adores her children. What’s not to love?

Whoah! Didn’t know Kate had green eyes! Will be observing her old photos now. Please do a color analysis on Diana!
I’m a new subscriber because of this Catherine the Princess of Wales video! She is STUNNING always but in green, simply GORGEOUS!
Love these ‘celebrity’ colour analysis !
Interesting! I never paid attention and thought she looked good as a winter, but I guess I was looking more at the stunning clothes than her face .
