I also love Amazon reviews because I will know if what the people are wearing is true to size, smaller or bigger.

My mother was a professional seamstress, and she taught me all about the importance of the best styles for my body type and knowing my body measurements, perfect fit, quality fabrics, and quality workmanship.
I shop online a lot. What I do is search for a certain color of clothing, and compare all the different colors that pop up. For example, if I search for a green top, many different shades of green will more often than not pop up. I can then zero in on the green that looks best on me and from there narrow my search for reviews, style, size and price.

I also look to see if the model is wearing silver or gold jewelry or the piece has silver/gold buttons/hardwear etc. Your content is great…. Educational, informative, and engaging! Also you both look great in both of your colors! Thank you so much!

Outside in the shade gives the most accurate color for photographs.

Yes- natural ambient light has a neutral color temperature. Incandescent light is warm. Florescent tends to be cool. Though I’ve found the Ott Light to be great for color matching indoors.

Lucinda... I am a bit off topic here, but that color scarf you are wearing lights you up. Gorgeous!! Much more striking than some of the more pastel things you wear. Of course, Sarah is rocking that green....as usual. Ok...back to the video for this old lady.... ( who used to be a winter and isn't sure what she is now with her silvery hair...although she's still cool....eyes are still brown....eyebrows have faded to nothingness as have the lips... *sigh* )

Delighted to find your channel. Please don’t limit yourself to short videos. Have watched most of yours now and I’m wishing for more in some of them. That’s a compliment! 😉 One small suggestion…your beautiful glasses reflect so much light that it’s quite distracting. Love your glasses, btw. 😃 But finding it hard to focus on what you’re saying with the constantly moving and flashing glare and not being able to see your eyes most of the time feels uncomfortable. Looking forward to seeing much more on all the systems! 👏☺️

I recognize that the glasses are a challenge- have been in search of non reflective lenses. I discovered what you think they would mean is not what they actually mean and I am blind as a bat without them. The search continues- thank you for bearing with me. -lucinda

hi! i love your videos! i just wanted to advocate for sustainable fashion here... you don't have to buy a lot of clothes if you don't like to wear the same outfit twice... you can be creative and buy versatile pieces and play with them instead! 😉🥰

We couldn’t agree more. Another advantage is that you can find more diversity of color.

I am a natural so I wear what's comfortable and allows me to move rather than what's trendy

So happy my algorithm popped your new channel up! BTW I am a summer now in my 60's, but when I first read Color Me Beautiful, my dark ash hair had me confused between winter & summer. I still look good in jewel tone blues and fuchsia. 🎉

Probably now a "cool" summer which is a border palette between summer and winter.

Sara, I love your lip color in this video. What brand and shade is it?

It may give you a hex code for the color. You can always look the color up by its hex. It will show it more "true" than in the photos

I don't understand none of this, but I'll give it a shot. I'm 64, blue eyes, I let my gray come in, it's kind of salt and pepper now. It used to be life brown. I have severe rosacea so I don't wear make-up.

Send a photo to ColorClassInc@gmail and we will give you a second opinion. Here is a good article on makeup for rosacea. www.byrdie.com/makeup-for-rosacea?&globeTest_visualSummaryList=0&Cj0KCQjwztOwBhD7ARIsAPDKnkD54zXTIE6q95-B8M59h7w9Y6qBgzV6Vuzn72ZP_6WK5xAbUyQGYPYaAvOrEALw_wcB&MakeupForRosacea_Byrdie_Combined_CommSEM_OrganicLP-4602392&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwztOwBhD7ARIsAPDKnkD54zXTIE6q95-B8M59h7w9Y6qBgzV6Vuzn72ZP_6WK5xAbUyQGYPYaAvOrEALw_wcB

Its much easier to shop that way when you can actually feel and see what you're getting vs. a mystery!
