Good to see a video of this MA1/9A1 oil pump/4 port scavenge pump disassembled and thanks for showing it. Same pump application for 987.2 Cayman & Boxster also and it drives from the crankshaft.
So your 997.2 had no oil pressure issue with the pump itself? I recently did both upper and lower oil sump pan because of sumps being cracked from an accident. When I started the my car my pressure was lower in the lower range. Have you started the car after the replacement of the pump? (FYI I did not replace the pump or solenoid)

My pump solenoid was defective. I replaced both but the problem was definitely a bad solenoid. It operates correctly now.
